I know everyones scedule is different but did anyone think about the dates set for the paved nats this coming year. That time of year schools and colleges are starting up again which could keep some attendance down. People may be starting or be parents of those who are. Not to mention I cant make those dates for a whole other reason. Just curious what everyone thought about them being so late in the year.

I agree that would make it harder to attend for alot of people, including myself.

on road nats are in Florida and if you tried to run it during the summer time it rains almost everyday so later in the year is a better date.I race the offroad mod nats a few years ago when they was in Fl it sucked with the rain .

Dates are proposed by the host tracks. We have had the dates this late in the past (MSA). We did have rain on Sunday. The conflicts with school are no different than carpet oval nats (April) or some of the other races (carpet on road is in March). We try, but not all races can be run from May through August.
