I’ve found that servo speed is more important on tight twisty courses. The faster the better.

0.06 sec/60 deg – Airtronics 94758Z digital servo – around 100 bucks
0.08 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-5925MG digital servo – around 90 bucks
0.08 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-925MG analog servo – around 73 bucks
0.11 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-225MG analog servo – around 28 bucks
0.13 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-525MG analog servo – around 40 bucks
0.13 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-525BB analog servo – around 30 bucks
0.15 sec/60 deg – Hitec HS-625MG analog servo – around 40 bucks

The torque on the 525 is the lowest, at 57 oz. But that’s enough.
The torque on the 225 is 67 oz. The 225 is a mini servo.
These numbers are at 6v.

The 225 is awesome for the money. Metal gears, high speed, good torque...what more do you want?? But if money is no object then the Airtronics servo is the way to go.
