johnnywhopper
12-20-2004, 03:08 PM
btw guys - the regular room rate at the Ramada is $99.99 per night. Tell them you're coming for the model car race at CRC Raceway and the rate is $69.99. The room HAS TO be reserved by 12/29/04 to get the special rate. There is no entry cutoff date, so you can sign up when you get here. But if you plan on coming saturday, make sure to give the ramada a call before 12/29.

Tom - i'll check on the motor rule and get back with ya.

Not sure exactly how soon they'll be available, but yes, we'll have them. Definately by Snowbird's, but not likely in time for the Dash.

Quad Magnet motor's ARE legal for the Dash this year. We have them in stock also. $25 no brushes or springs.

Do I really see what I think I'm seeing.............. Joe Ivo is bringing the Marshall's gang up North to CRC!!! I can't believe it!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!

After 15 years of me going down to the thriving metropolis of HONESDALE PA to race with the LEGEND's of HONESDALE............the boys are coming to Rome. That's the best Christmas present ever.

For those of you that don't know.......Joe "automatic" Ivo is a machine at Marshall's with about 14,000,000 laps under his belt there. He regularly shows up, borrows a 12th car when he sees me walk in the door, and proceeds to spank me with it, with his eyes closed. (Actually, I think it was my car I let him borrow 1 year.) LOL

Hey guys, I'd really love to see you make the trip. This race will be a blast. Plus, I'll take you guys out for the best Itialian food you've ever had on Saturday night. Take care.

lol Steve that is a great post! but your bein a bit kind because anytime you guys from up north come down to race 12th its never a walk in the park! but you are right about me borrowing cars. i just drive it like i stole it most the time lol. i can not wait till the Dash. i should be comeing up with atleast 2 guys to run some 12th and 10th. i think the main thing that caught my attention about this race this year over other years is that there was more talk about it. posting races on hobbytalk has got to be one of the best ways to promote a track and racing.

anyways cant wait to get there. i hope the FOOD IS GOOD ALSO! LoL seeya

johnnywhopper
12-23-2004, 10:35 AM
Tom - I don't think you'll need to, but if you have the space in your car it may be a good idea. We'll have plenty of pit space, but it does seem that we're a couple tables short of what we used to have.
