Got one sitting in the box in the basement. I'm hoping to get it together before Christmas. I'll try to get pics up when it's together.

I thought about one when I replaced my E-Maxx, that was when it had just come out. when I did some price comparisons it came out to be a little more expensive than the Maxx so I decided to stick with the Maxx.
I still have interest in it though, so I'd like to hear more about it when you get it together Brian.

Price was a concern for me, too. Tower had them on sale (still do, I think) so I picked up the twin force and extra spider gears for about $215. I've got a slew of super roosters, so the price was pretty right for me. I was running in the shaft drive class at the monster truck races in Bradenville, PA (twice a year), but my jugg was getting whooped pretty regularly by the serious race chassis. I traded the jug off (still have two others for scale type running) and picked the tf up for the shaft class. There was a tf that ran this summer, and with a stock setup it was outhandling the txt/jugs with tranny inversions and custom chassis. Since I never have time to get all my trucks ready for the trip up, I thought I'd try one that just needs to be driven, lol.

I've got a TF on its way to me, so rest assured I'll be hopping it up something fierce...and havin some fun with it hopefully.
Still trying to grow our repertoire of parts...

I've ran several brushless setups in my TF. It's a natural choice since you have to buy an esc anyway. The drivetrain is a lot stronger than the E-Maxx. I sold both the E's when I got the Twin. I will be doing comparison tests this coming week with several brushless systems in the TF.....including the HV.

i got my tw 2 weeks ago the truck is much better now that i put on the ultra soft springs i have the hv brushless in it .last weekend i raced a emaxx with hv brushless the tf was much faster out of hole im running a 18 pinion with e-maxx tires and wheels the tf tires were way too bouncy i love the truck only bad thing kyosho stopped making some replacement parts oh ya top speed was about same very very fast i think it will keep up with nitro trucks
i have a stock tf i want to use for rock crawling and want to change gears but the transfer cas has a skrew under my gear with the sliper clutch? so i cant go larger and i cant go smaller with my sper gear moter hits monts so im thinking about spining the shaft that has thechainand slipergear around with the moters and notching the mnt bracket to fit larger gears enyone tried that or eney ideas how to get beter low end power

I can't imagine needing more torque from the stock setup. How small are the pinions you're using? If you can't get the gearing changed, I'd go to magnetic mayhems or 540 motors with a 6 cell pack. You'll lose top end, but you should get way better low speed control.

I think some guys went to 48p gearing to lower the ratio.
