Did you just get a used ESC, it doesn't have instructions and you want to find out how to to wire it up? If it has 4 wires on it, here is how to do it.

Here's How:

Securely mount your ESC to your car or truck using double-sided servo tape.
If your ESC has plugs, jump to step 7.
Solder or attach the blue wire to the negative terminal of your motor.
Solder or attach one of the red wires to the positive terminal of your motor.
Solder or attach the black wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
Solder or attach the remaining red wire to the positive terminal of the battery.
If your ESC has plugs, one of the plugs should fit the plug on your battery. You will most likely have to remove the motor plug, strip the motor wires and follow steps 3 & 4.
Tips:

If the plugs that come on the ESC do not fit the plugs on your batteries, get the proper plug from your local hobby shop and install it on your ESC. Make sure you have the polarity correct on the plug when installing it.
If you need to change plugs on your ESC, read the warranty closely. You may void the warranty by replacing the plug.
