Hello everybody! I have a problem......I have installed on my computer Quicktime Player and internet plugin.(version 6.5). I have seen some movies online from a mobile phone company because this is the only way i can see them in Quicktime. I have modified the default internet plug-in settings and checked the box which says "Save movies to disk cache. " which i think means that after it has finished downloading the movie or buffering whatever it saves it to the hard disk in the internet cache....well i dont know where this is.....searched with Start->Find ...and called for Help&Support but nothing........Please can anyone help me ..if the movies cant be found there then does quicktime create a folder in which it saves them......i have seen so many cool movies online and would like to have them on my hdd. i have windows xp pro. Thank you!

if i remember correctly, all that does is, queue it up locally. the cached files are usually in a temp directory, or a big long filename in your temporary internet files folder. the thing is.. most quicktime files are streamed thus not really saving anything.
as with anything "cached" most likely it would be in your c:\documents&settings\yourusername\local settings\Temp Internet Files or something to that nature.
more or less.
I think also the Local Settings was a hidden folder, so you'd have to enable that.
I just tested, i watched a movie off collegehumor and it stuck it into the temp internet files.
hope that helps.
