Just got this from a buddy today no idea about its past. I'm curious what it is and how old it is. Hope the pictures tell the story. The chassis says made in singapore. The body says part no 1767-001. Thanks in advance.

It's an Aurora AFX Lola T-260 minus its wing. It came out in 1972 in the second round of AFX cars. Great body design. You should be able to find a wing with the L&M on it if you do some searching.

LOL, my dad has the same body that's missing the wing also.......I'd love to find one of those wings myself...to complete his car.

I think it's the ones with the copyright date on them (I think 1971?) that are harder to find. I think all of the original AFX chassis like this one say AF/X on them. Don't know about Magnatractions.

Thanks for the info the car is as old as I am. Going to put a spring in it and some tires on it and see what it'll do.

That's a fun body, and it has enough room in it that you can "clip-lower" it for an SG+, but still use Magnatraction running gear. Makes for a fast-handling retro car. :)

I have that body and I run it on a Tomy SRT chassis. Looks great and pegs the needle.

I also have an extra wing for anyone who needs one. I can't remember if it is the tall or short version though. They did both..
