Hello all:

We have had a very unpleasant past few days, to say the least.

As a result of a serious health condition that I have just learned of and some business demands that will take me out of the country for blocks of time, my wife and I have made the VERY difficult decision to close LEFTHANDER R/C.

I haven't slept in days as a result of struggling with this hard decision -- oval racing has been a big part of my life for over 15 years, and LEFTHANDER R/C has been incredibly successful. This makes it even harder.

My wife and I want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to all of our customers in the U.S. and in Europe. We also want to say THANK YOU to the great suppliers that we have worked with.

LEFTHANDER R/C will remain open for several weeks as we sell our remaining inventory. Most items will be discounted below the web site prices to help us close the shop a little sooner. We will also periodically update the website when items are out of stock.

Please e-mail if you are looking for anything or if you have any questions -- my address: jeff@lefthander-rc.com

Thanks again everyone for your support over the past year.

Jeff Fritsche, Owner.

Jeff
I sincerely hope everything works out and gets better for you.

Definately one of the good guys in this hobby and always willing to bend over backwards for the racers.

Take care and hopefully you can return to the hobby in the future.

Thank you, Eric.

This is really tearing us up -- having to let go of a business that we've enjoyed running so much and then having to deal with this health issue on top of it.

I only know how to do things one way -- 110%. Anything less doesn't cut it for me and we had to make the decision to let go if we couldn't continue to give it 110% attention. Our customers deserve the best.

Jeff.

Jeff,

First off, I want to wish you and you family the very best strength and god speed in whatever challenges you face.

I confess, when read your post, my first thought was what about the order I placed Friday. Well, as a tribute to your service to others, it showed up in TEXAS from Wisconsin today. I hadn't even expected it so soon under normal circumstances.

I will continue to order things I need from you until such time as you decide to stop accepting orders. your support of racers will REALLY be missed.

Jeff, I echo the guys who have already posted on here. I liked to B.S. with you on the phone from time to time in hopes to get the inside scoop on whats hot. I only placed a few orders with you but the service was top notch even when you sent my order to Japan that one time (kidding).I also remember fondly racing with you at Classic when you put me in the wall something like six times cause of a glitch or something.lol
All kidding aside I hope all is well with you and your family soon as that is what its all about. You will be in our thoughts. Bill

Jeff,

So very sorry to hear this news. We never met, but in our dealings you have been first-class all the way - a lesson for others to follow for sure. If you ever find yourself in WNY you have a friend nearby. A friend with an extra car or two looking for a wheel ;)

Wishing you and yours all the best.

Sincerely,
Jack D.

Jeff,

Sorry to hear this news, but you have to take of yourself and your family. You are one of the best I've done business with since I got back into this hobby. I was always amazed how fast my orders came in.

I wish you the best of luck & health.

Thanks for everything,

Jeff, I am very shocked at the news. You and i had just talked on the phone last Saturday for about 20 minutes, like we were best freinds. Take care, and i will keep in touch. Thanks for everything, Bobby Blount

Bobby -- it was a big surprise to me as well. It just sucks to have to let this go -- but my doctor pretty much made that decision for me. There is a bright spot in this -- I'm getting ahead of it now, rather than 5 years from now.

Thx.
Jeff.

All,

Thanks for all the nice comments. It's been great talking to so many of you over the past couple days.

I've had several people urge me to try to find a way to keep it going, but my health and business situation no longer permit me to run Lefthander R/C in the manner in which it needs to be done.

However, I have no intentions of hanging up the transmitter yet.... that will probably be the best therapy I could have.

Thanks again,
Jeff.

Jeff;
I don't know if we've ever met each other, but regardless, its always unfortunate to hear of someone dealing with health issues, even more so when its a fellow rc guy.
Thanks for your support of our products in the past. I will try to support you in the only way I know how. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Sincerely - Dale Epp
