hey, all... I recently found an original Aurora Mustang fastback. Cut wheelwells, no bumpers. I'm trying to restore it to runner status using JL bumpers. The rear one fits fine, but the front one is giving me a hard time, and I don't want to pry or press too hard because I know I'll break the headlights off. (I think I weakened one already... ) Looking at it, I can't see any reason for it not to fit... no mold lines sticking out, no imperfections, no different shape where the two shouldn't line up. Anybody know if there's a specific place to sand or trim the JL piece so it'll fit the Aurora body better? I'm thinking the bottom of the grille to make more room between the grille and the bumper, but I was hoping someone could tell me for sure before I go at this tiny little delicate thing with implements of destruction...
