Pole Position. All cells come from the same place, its the zapper that makes the difference when its all said and done. I've tried them all, these cells run like new longer than the others I've tried, unlike a few others that run great for 5 runs then go flat. Again I attribute it to the match and the zap.

Been running for Jeff since 1998 Nationals in Vegas. Have never had a bad pack and numbers are dead on. And he stands behind his product 100%.

I normally don't post to these threads, but I am with Jason, The Leading Edge batteries are AWESOME. Great "true" #s that won't leave you hanging with a minute to go in the race.

TQCells!!!! Steve is one of the greatest guy to work with in this hobby. Price is very competitive, #'s are honest, & the packs run awesome.

I've had a battery pack or 2 from alot of different matchers.. I've had good luck with the stuff that I have gotten from Fusion. No more messing with assembly or any of thet either, another added bonus.

TQCELLS, They never fail me. I ran world-class before they went out, then switched to SMC, but now I only run TQ. They are the best.

Just a question. How many of the guys "endorsing" the cells on here are sponsored by the battery company? Be honest, are you being "paid" to say you like the cells? :)

Nope, just gotten good quality stuff from Mark @ Lightspeed, bought all my SMC from DR over the counter @ MSA.

Smc is the ticket for me, been using them for thirteen years, known Danny S. for just as long, and raced with him also! Really great guy and know's his stuff when it comes to batteries! Or we would not have survived for this long! The 35 amp stuff is makes me smile when you hit the trigger... mad rip!!

With TQCells, you get true numbers and they are also the cheapest.

I do get a little break from Steve but I could get the same (or better) break from a couple of other companies. I choose to stay with TQCells because of the performance, quality, & customer service. Again, I have to say Steve is a great guy & he has helped me over the years as much or more than anyone else in the sport!! Thanks Steve!!

For all the talk about TQ cells. There website leaves a little to be desired. No pricing and not much info.

TQ cells are not sold from the web site, they are found at better hobby shops around the country. If your LHS does not carry them, have them contact steve (info@tqcells.com) and he will
get all the info for them to carry his product.

For all the talk about TQ cells. There website leaves a little to be desired. No pricing and not much info.Steve is very busy between racing & matching cells & such. He is working on (if its not already done) getting Paypal set up on the site. Check your local hobby shop first. Steve firmly believes in supporting your LHS. If you don't find them there have them contact him. He will work with them to get you what you need. Some of the other companies don't even have a website.

TQCELLS
I don't get "paid" to say that, but 35 amp packs just seem to run better, especially in mod where you use ALL the battery.

Later, Bret
PS. Last week wasn't the battery's fault :p .

Sadly, My closest hobby shop is 90 miles away. And what they stock is NOT impressive unless you race off road.

I would say Surge. They are getting some killer numbers which show on the track. Check them out:

anyone can come on here and say this company or that company has the best batteries...and i'm sure most companies have top quality products...but it comes down to customer service...i've been running Pro-match batteries ever since i started racing and til this day Jeff Roe has always took time to answer my questions and explain in detail why...not just some lame answer to hurry me off the phone! not too mention their batteries ROCK!

TQ cells all the way. Steve is a very knoweledgable guy and he also races so he knows what the racers want out of their cells. TQ cells are matched at 35 amps so you still have punch left after the 3 min mark unlike some cells that seem to fall off bad TQ cells stay as consistent all the way threw.

I just started dealing with Surge and was very impressed. Price was right and the numbers were what they stated them to be. What more can you ask for?

SMC gets my vote. Not only do they perform as advertised, right out of the box, they last for seasons. Best bang for the buck, any level.

Danny, hurry back to the states!
