This chassis is hot at our local track (new castle) where the competition is strong.
This past weekend had guys from 6 states racing
4 cell stock
19 turn
mod

The EDGE car ran good in all the classes.
4 cell stock ..... 14 cars
Qualifying 3rd, 4th and i belive 5th in A main
The EDGE car took 1st place
(not sure on other 2 cars)

19 turn .... 19 cars
Qualifying 4th, 5th, 7th ,8th
placing 2nd,
(not sure on rest, but one of the EDGE cars got caught up in a werck at the start and came backe to get a lap on 2nd place and was ready to do the same for first, but time ran out.
The EDGE car won B main

4 cell mod......(i believe 12 cars)
Qualifying 6th and 7th
not sure on finish

next big race dec. 11th and 12th

Now back to the EDGE chassis
this car can be picked up at
http://leadingedgerccars.com/

any set-up questions or suggestions
drop and shout here

If your looking for a car to get thru the corners smoothly and fast then this is the car.

ummm....nope.
i think the b-main master continued his dominance
wasn't it the big 17 peddling it to the win in the "B"?
ya gotta be in it to win it...and know when to go hard and when to go smart.
dave builds great stuff....it's good to see his guys do well.

What kinda rear pod are you guys running with these cars?

bmalicoat
11-11-2004, 07:16 PM
The car uses associated pod plates but the graphite is all leading edge.

Most use the IRS plates

I was thinking I saw where someone was running there's with the maverick rear pod?

DaveW

I am unaware of anyone that is using the Maverick rear pod, the "Edge" kit comes complete with the only pod that you will need.

For you that are running touring oval and what a smoother transition into the corners and out...........

check out the website on the tc3 battery tray.
with battery tray out further on the left side
with a little work to do to your car will bolt right on.

The tray is adjustable forward and back

I've been running it for a couple of weeks now

I've had a chance run LEADING EDGE'S batteries

and they ran great
lots of run time and volts

4 cell or 6cell both are awsome

I took my 6 cell packs and ran off-road this past saturday and power thru-out the run. wow

there is a jump there and later in the race this jump needs all the battery you have to make the jump.
I had no problem making it, where most of the other guys had problems.

check with Dave and see what batteries he can set up with for your time out.

thanks

I can agree about the batteries and the car. I ran mine a few weeks ago and trouble for most of the day, but the main came around and the thing was a rocket ship. I had a bad start but the car was on rails. I did run the LE batteries and they were extremely strong the whole race through. I also ran the LE 19turn motors. They are wound tight and clean. VERY FAST.

I'm still "in love" with my Terminator Pro... Heck I don't know if I could handle anything FASTER! LOL! I've never had a car handle so well from first time out to now -- it has NEVER let me down. I know that's no surprise to Dave's fans, but it still impresses me... I've been doing this for 15 years, and nothing has impressed me quite like this one... :D

DaveW
11-18-2004, 12:30 AM
Thanks Tom. The Terminator Pro is a great chassis, I still hear from guys that are running very well with it.

Burbs The links have been working for me, but I have heard from people that say they can't get my email to go through.

The "Edge" and the "Pro" are both fantastic pieces. Jamie has both cars and would not part with either of them. Dave's Leading Edge products, 19-turns, and batteries are TOP NOTCH, and if you haven't tried them yet, you really should--you will not be disappointed !!! Casey, sorry we missed your race last weekend; I am sure Dave can help you out with an Edge. Oldguy

Looks like the battery tray from Leading Edge works great in touring oval.

At summitt raceway in fort Wayne, Indiana
on a warm-up race for the Indiana State Championships
The touring cars that had the battery tray installed
Qaulified 1st,2nd,and 3rd
and went on to finish in that order

As for the the championships......
the cars that had the battery tray tq'ed and places 2nd after a hard battle just behind 1st.

So if your looking for that extra something for your touring oval car check out the battery tray......... this will help on corner speed keeping it up thru the corners.

http://leadingedgerccars.com/

The EDGE car did very well at this weekend
in the warm-up race TQ'ed and 2nd in qaulifing
the main it self was a very close one
.3 tenth of a second sepperated 1st and 2nd
close racing the hole race.

The championships the next day went just as good
same two TQ'ed and 2nd
but the results in the main had a different out come

Check out the other products Dave at LEADING EDGE has
