Found this in a box of stuff that I think got handed down from one of my uncles...

Stuff I'm trying to find out:

1. Can I just pop in the interior from another Hot Heap fairly easily?
2. Does the windshield attach to the interior or to the body?
3. Those front tires look too small, don't they? (I found it in a box with a severely beat Silhouette that was missing its wheels... I'm thinking that's where the fronts came from...)
4. What do you call the little spots on the body? I know Hot Wheels guys have a term for that (like "toning" for the base) but I forget what it is...
5. That's antifreeze, isn't it?

don't know if the interior and windshield go together, what you do have to look at is the base... there was a U.S. version and a Hong Kong version...
the Hong Kong version has a separate black steering wheel and column sticking thru it..the U.S. version has the steering wheel the same color and part of the interior itself...

on the wheels, yes, actually both the front and rear are wrong...the rears in the picture actually belong on the front and there are bigger ones that go on the rear...

there is a website for getting just wheels and redline parts, like interiors...have to look for it...BUT they want alot for those little parts... most aren't worth restoring with the repro parts unless it's a personel fav or maybe a pink car...
