Here's the address.....
We'll be conveniently located in the "Rivertown Sports Complex" at
2605 Sanford Avenue SW
Grand Rapids, Michigan
To find it on map quest you may have to use Grandville as the City? I think the facility in right on the boarder.

Here's a few of the buildings great features:
Smooth flat concrete floors
Large track size of 40' X 100'
24' ceilings
NO poles
Great lighting
His/Her bathrooms
Snack Bar (NOT run by the GLRC)
Ground floor access
Centralized pit system
Security alarm
Fresh coat of paint on pit tables and track boarders

We've spoken with the Oval powers to be!
OVAL will be added into our format, and will
be scheduled to run on FRIDAY EVENINGS.

Also, anybody interested in bringing back the "Michigan 500"?

How about GLRC holding this years ROAR carpet oval Regional race?
(We've emailed Kenny asking about the requirments already)

Get those cars dusted off, Oval is happening Grand Rapids.

Sorry we missed ya Fred. How's Cleveland?
Friday we found where the carpet needs to be restretched in turn 4. The floor is dirty there, so the tape didn't stick. We kind of fixed it, but it needs to be redone. We didn't have time to fix it right. Got the CW car dialed! Can't wait for Sunday!!!

who's going and what class for Sunday's start of the points series?

Also, can you guys please please please please please leave the heat on over Saturday night? It was very cold in there last Friday. If its that cold in there you don't learn anything in practice. and then by the time its somewhat warm in there racing starts and the track is way different. Thanks in advance.

I had a really good time at yesterday's oval race! We had a decent turnout. It's been a long time since we had an A,B and a C in 19 turn anywhere. Oh, and I think I saw Kieth sweating!

I hope that everyone keeps showing up for the points series races. We had a good time in a relaxed atmosphere. I still got home by 6:30 in lansing. I won't be there for the 19th (Dec.) we'll be on vacation, but I plan on making it to most of the rest.

It was great to have such a good turn out. We will be running oval every Sunday not just the series races. Looking forward to this coming Sunday.
