Just had a deal go bad with this guy and I want to let people know.
details:
-last week he was sending the bucks for my Clod overnight. No money no word until I badgered him on Monday. he claimed car problems but the money would go out Tuesday.
-He checks back saying he SENT an extra $20 so I could overnight his truck-he really wanted it for this coming weekend.
-I ask for a zip code so I can see if that will cover it.
-Tuesday he gives me his zip and says he WILL send it out. This was 7:30 last night.
-I explain that if he sends the money (from Minn to MA) on Wednesday I wont see it until Thursday. He wanted the truck for the weekend. I said I couldn't guaranty he would get it.
-He responds with "if you are going to be that way about it, I will go by a Maxx..."

I don't know what the story is but personally, I would steer clear.

Just a follow up. It turns out that this guy CuztomClodz is no other than Brandon Brown who is well known as the King of Scam. There is huge thread (http://www.clodtalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=7473)
ongoing on Clodtalk right now about this guy. On that board, he goes by ClodThrasher.

might want to ive more details like what transpired, what you got scammed on. you have a low post, and its sad to see someone who got taken with only 2 posts... hmmmm

I will back him on this one! I also have a post here with more details but generally it became known on ClodTalk that he is Brandon Brown who knowingly ripped off about a dozen people in the last year. There is an entire web page dedicated to him and his scams. He goes by the name ClodThrasher on that board. The amusing thing is that it ame more to light because HE bitched aobut getting scammed. In reality, the guy he was dealing with was being careful but 9 pages into the thread old Brandon, fresh out of Juvi, drug and alcohol rehab is CLAIMS to be turning over a new leaf. This time, he got caught selling stuff that he didn't even have. He tried to sell stuff saying he had used it in Florida while he had never actually touched the piece in question. Some of those parts were the ones he felt he was getting scammed for. He posted pix of MY truck, claiming it was his. The list goes on. Just stay well away from him.

He may be just a stupid kid but his history should make EVERYBODY stay clear.
