I figured a new post rather than step on ParkRNDL's thread. :)

I enjoy running 440's (just not as much as T-jets) as does the wife and our friends. Mine are mostly the runners for crash and burn or the kids. They're all rubbed up and scuffed, but She's a bit more careful with hers. They're all in pretty much perfect shape, but you wouldn't know it from these lousy pics.

Here's about 60% of the wife's Stocker collection. She's got a lot of others and the newer stuff too, but I just grabbed these two cases because they were handy. The newer Tyco Daytona and the Levi-Garret car are mine. You can tell she likes King Richard and the Intimidator too. She's had a lot of my help acquiring these, and she runs them on occasion, but they're off limits to me--unless they need a tune-up of course. :freak:

Thats a really impressive set! Gotta love it when the love of your life shares your interests in entertainment. My wife loves playing with the slots, and I think there may be a little bit of "NASCAR wife" coming out in her. (She sat and watched the Phoenix race today of her own violition instead of at my behest.) :hat:

Man, that is really nice... I've got a few Petty's and etc. in my collection...but nothing like that. I'm working on an 80's Tyco Buick right now for my father......but I'm taking the body a drag racing route...not a Nascar.

I've seen Captain Fred's collection....and he's also loaded with some great Nascars.....

Wow. Excellent collection. You need to get some of those beauties mounted up in a nice wall case so you can see them in all their glory.

Hey there,
My wife read the posts tonight, and was pleased everyone liked them and says "thank you". :)

I mentioned that she's got quite a few more, but if she wants the pics shown, she can just join the board and post her own! We've already argued about that.

AfxToo--She doesn't care either way about displaying them, but I would like to (especially since I can't run those). I've seen the link you posted for the display cases. Maybe once the track is moved to the upstairs of the garage I can set up a whole room for display. Right now the race-room is in shambles.

Thats a really impressive set! :hat:
I tell her that all the time.......and I like her cars too!

Goodnight..

Displaying them, the cars, is definately a nice way to go if you have the space. They just look great and the total effect of seeing groups of cars on display is always spectacular. My primary motivation for acquiring non-racing cars is to display them, but I do pull each one of them out of their display case every now and then for some track time. Everything that runs will get run before getting cleaned up and put back on display. My better half was fairly neutral about my hobby before I got the display cases, but since I've gotten them on display she's very enthusiastic about it and now enjoys seeing them as much as I do.
