Keep up the good work! bigfredzzz 11-13-2004, 11:10 AM thanks bigfredzzz 11-21-2004, 05:41 AM Here is what I can tell you for sure..... A meeting with a number of track owners/operators was held on Saturday the 20th at the X-Dome in Dayton. Everyone agreed that there should be at least 2 weeks between any tracks' big races and a tentative schedule was worked out. It looks like we will be dropping the RaceFest from the schedule rather than trying to fit it elsewhere into the schedule. Other than that, the race dates will stay pretty much as they have been. As soon as Joe gets the flyers done, I will post them. A calendar hosted on a neutral site will contain the dates of all the tracks' races along with National and Regional events. We will provide a link as well as post our own calendar. This will allow anyone to find out where and when races in Region 5 will be held. This is a great idea. The meeting was a big hit. It got everyone talking to each other and working together. It was also decided to run an Indiana-Ohio Nitro series as well in 2005. Each track will choose an existing race to host their race. There won't be anything to enter or extra fees. The rules will be finalized and posted before the 2005 season. Looks like we will be restarting the club again. Membership will get you discounts on enty fees and other stuff to be decided. We will post details soon. We will be racing on Sundays in 2005. Times and details will announced soon. Joe has made a serious commitment for 2005. There will be some big changes for the better, so come out and support R/C World in 2005. When all the details are worked out, I will send out another notice as well as post it on www.rcworld.com . Thanks and looking forward to a great year.
