Porksalot4L 11-04-2004, 04:50 PM Hey its not for a couple months but i know im excited about it and why not try to get a few others excited. it truely is gonna be a great race this year cause i know of some top guys i talked to that are at this point planning on racing. Pete D bein one and Frank Polimeda hoping to run also as long as they can make it. and with Sandhills coming up and you know that is gonna be a good Banked track race this year so why not save the bank track cars for the bank tracks! lol bring them right up to KN for the blast and see if the Sandhill racers can proove themselves up at KN! :) all in good fun but why not have some friendly rivalry between the tracks being that i hear they are pretty close in setup. could be cool to see what locals are faster where. speaking of some fast bank track racing how about the guys from Akron making the Winterblast also! Last year was the first good Winterblast in years and i know this year will be even better. with the Top notch guys that plan on goin up there i dont see why anyone would want to miss such an event! and if you think its to close to the SnowBirds to consider goin up there well remember this. Last year they raced 6 cell mod at KN and the winner up there was Frank Polimeda in a very good race between him and a few other top racers. a few weeks later he goes on to win the 6 cell mod class down at the snowbirds. i think the extra time he had up at kn helped him in that personally. even though they are so different of tracks i think the compitition "Fix" sure gave him some advantage. im sure the batts and motors helped some also :)
But anyways everyone I know this is goin to be a sweet race this year. MAKE YOUR PLANS SOON cause the more that say there goin to race it will make others want to race it. word of mouth is key. seeya all there and dont forget there stock hand out race that is coming up in Dec! WWW.knrcspeedway.com (http://www.knrcspeedway.com) for phone numbers and more info on the track.

Jason Lambert 11-04-2004, 05:11 PM I plan on running 6 cell again this year if there's intrest, and if I get my cars in time. Other than that, I'm out of the mod game.
I'm actually looking foreward to this year's race, and running in the 2 largest classes (stock and 19 turn) rather than the 2 smallest classes, should be alot better, or at least alot more competition :)
Bring 'em up and start playing guys, take the holiday weekends out of the picture, and we really only have 8 weekends before the race!
Jim Rufiange 11-04-2004, 06:57 PM When exactly is this event? The website has the 2003-2004 schedule. Thanks in advance.
I will be there as well, stock and 19t either 10th or 12th. I hope to make one A and hope to be back for the december race for another tune-up.
hypercraig14 11-04-2004, 08:56 PM Chad told me the BLAST is the weekend of the 21st-23rd of Jan.

dancingd 11-05-2004, 02:07 PM Hey WELCOME back Jason...
RC5150 11-05-2004, 03:13 PM Welcome back Lamballs!! Looking forward to rubbing fenders with you soon.
Charlie
davepull 11-05-2004, 04:19 PM I heard a rumor that the only way Lamballs was allowed back was with a Muzzle. lol Hey what days do you guys run up there? I'll be up on the 20th and duy you guys have any 12th scales showing up???
Jason Lambert 11-05-2004, 04:21 PM NO 12th scales Dave. 1/10th stock, 19 turn, and mod if you can get enough guys to run.
I don't need a muzzle, instead, Chad just gave me my own room on top of the hobby shop.. I'm less annoying there I'm told. Hey, this way I can leave my suff there, and work on stuff with some stealth. Works for me :)
Jason Lambert 11-05-2004, 04:22 PM Don't worry Charlie... I'l be rubbing alot of fenders.. the old wheel is a little rusty... or maybe it was never not rusty....?
davepull 11-05-2004, 04:25 PM so i'll leave the 12th scale home but do they still run on sundays????
davepull 11-05-2004, 04:27 PM Don't worry Charlie... I'l be rubbing alot of fenders.. the old wheel is a little rusty... or maybe it was never not rusty....?
it's not that the wheel is rusty. It's that that f&^%$g thing is square and melts after 3 mins. mmmmmmuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa lol
Jason Lambert 11-05-2004, 04:45 PM Yeah Dave, they still run on Sundays. Hell, for the thing to melt, it would have to be solid to start. My wheel is nothing more than a jello-mold, so it will melt if you look at it wrong :)
davepull 11-05-2004, 04:49 PM cool man the sunday the 21st Leave the women and children at home Catbrains are return to the track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason Lambert 11-05-2004, 05:02 PM Cool. I'll make sure that I make room in my room for ya. Vincenti's stuff is there, I'll move it aside for ya.
PUF19 11-05-2004, 05:23 PM Some updates to the site have already been done (hit refresh after page loads)
the winter blast info is there, weekly results will be posted soon.
notice the car start wave is gone....
NICK AKA"WEBMASTER"
hypercraig14 11-06-2004, 12:42 AM nick looking good ,is that november race on the website for this year?if not you may wanna yank that soon so no-one gets confused.other then that keep up the good work.
RC5150 11-08-2004, 10:51 AM Attention racers- I found a radio hidden behind the shade where I normally pit at the track. I think it might have been left over from the Fall Final. I gave it to Chad. So if anyone is missing a radio, this might be yours.
Charlie Stewart
davepull 11-09-2004, 01:09 AM Do you guys allow paragon (black can) still?
TEAMHAWHAW 11-09-2004, 03:54 AM Paragon is still used. No prob with that Catbrains. See you soon.
THE TRACK IS CLOSED THIS SATURDAY. REGIONALS @ HOBBY CHAMBER,
Chad
RC5150 11-09-2004, 07:52 AM Bummer.
Jason Lambert 11-09-2004, 10:29 AM Yes Dave, they still allow Paragon... always will.
Jason glad to see you back in to it.
Porksalot4L 11-10-2004, 06:45 PM so whose goin to the Lamp durin the winterblast? anyone?? Lol
Jason Lambert 11-10-2004, 07:19 PM Probably everyone :)
TEAMHAWHAW 11-11-2004, 05:54 PM Guys the format for this blast depends on numbers. Here is a loose idea:
Stock, SK, spec classes, 1/12 19turn 3 qualifiers and main Saturday
1/10 19turn 6-cell mod, 4-cell mod Sunday.
Let me know what you think?
Chad
Mayhem 11-11-2004, 05:57 PM Sounds good stk and 19T on separate days.......
RC5150 11-11-2004, 06:12 PM Sounds good to me......still.
SHADOW 11-11-2004, 06:19 PM Looks good to me too. Be up for a couple days of practice hopefully soon.
dancingd 11-11-2004, 06:30 PM I put in for four days off,for the blast..What am I going to do for the first three??
Jason Lambert 11-11-2004, 07:00 PM I think that will work out. It's better to make it so that guys only running stock or some other class dont' have to be ther saturday and sunday if they don't choose to. That;s the way that it used to be, and I think that it will help the attendance too. Good move Chad!
PUF19 11-11-2004, 08:01 PM Maybe i will get to run both of my mains this year ;0P
NICK
B.Sousa 11-11-2004, 08:22 PM i'll be there for sure this year could not make it last year wife was do for a baby that weekend. one question on your idea chad will there be any practice for 1/10 19t 6 cell mod and 4 cell mod on saturday? the only reason i ask is with the amount of people running on the track will it change from friday night to sunday morning without being able to make a practice run i'm just curios i'm not sure how you did it last year i was not there but i will this year. i would just like to see a big crowd on both days. i'll be there both days no matter what even if my calss is not running. well cya all in a few weeks, Brad

Jim Rufiange 11-11-2004, 11:05 PM Different days, for different classes. Good move! Reminds me of the old days. Remember when Nick gave 2 minutes between races? He was the man.
