View Full Version : Models(BUILT) for sale
vanable2000 11-01-2004, 11:21 PM O.K. I am new here and I have a few pieces that need to go! I am running out of space and I will be parting with them. I just want them to go to good homes where they wont be destroyed and to someone who wont bring them to a show where I have to compette against my own work :) I have a problem with folks showing up at shows and putting my own pieces in compition against me, thats not cool. I have Pinhead by screamin,Frankenstein by Geometric,The Mummy by Geometric, a model of USS Essex by Trumpiter(she has a full compliment of aircraft over 500 photoetched personel and a lit hangerdeck, a restored Ikonz Klingon Battlecruiser that I found at a yard sale in very poor condition(no base and in pieces). She has been rebuilt and a new base made for her. I have several other pieces but I wont bore everyone with the list here, if anyone is interested you can contact me a vanable2000@aol.com I also do some build up for individuals at reasonable rates. Thanks in advance.
XactoHazzard 11-02-2004, 02:12 AM What are you looking to get for the Pinhead?
Travis
vanable2000 11-02-2004, 09:26 AM Travis, I will take $150.00 for him, the box was not with the kit so I never put anything in the hands, and yes the blood is real!:P there were no other trinkets to go with the figure so I scratchbuilt a Goth looking blade to hang from the piercing in his belly. Like I said I am looking for good homes for some of my work as I am running out of room, I just reciently moved from a ten room home to a six room home and it is getting tight.:P
capt Locknar 11-03-2004, 01:56 AM Just out of curiosity and nothing intended, if the blood is real isn't that a biohazard?? Nice job on it too, Pin heads my fav
vanable2000 11-03-2004, 09:33 AM Dont fear, its mixxed with polyurithane and sealed on top with poly for good measure. Hope that set fears to rest.

capt Locknar 11-03-2004, 12:09 PM I was just curious, and as I said nothing intended out of the question.
Whats the overall length on the Ikonz Klingon Cruiser if ya know.
vanable2000 11-03-2004, 08:56 PM From the tip of the pod to the end of the the warp drives is around 29 inches and fron side to side the the warp drives is 19 inches.
vanable2000 11-03-2004, 09:01 PM And Its ok, I dont mind ppl asking about the blood in my kits, I have a few Dr. friends and I saught their advice on how to secure it for the very question you asked, so I dont mind the inquiries, so no offense taken. If you goto the Kantank site you will see others with blood and they too are the same way, the Nagle MINE! is not for sale, it was a gift and I do get sentimental, sometimes mental but thats another story:P

I would think that the blood, after a while, would lose any vira or bacteria. If I'm wrong, tell me: I've got an unsealed blood stain on a re-enacting jacket for effect. The stain is several years old.
vanable2000 11-24-2004, 02:54 AM Some Vira only go dormant when touching the air but as soon as it is reintroduced to the body it will reconstitute and go on as if nothing had happened, most notably are some blood dorne vira, not all but more than you might think, this is the reason I seal everything in Polyurithane, nothing gets thru that.
