I would like to see Tony win the race, but, it isn't going to happen. Scott Lathram was his pilot. Scott was originally from Benton, KY. My uncle, who is a KY State Rep., said that Scott was one of the finest individuals you could ever come across. My uncle helped Scott when he was getting ready to retire from the KY State Police. He also flew around, on Friday nights, local WPSD-TV Sports Newscaster - Dave Winder; for the Friday night football games in the area.

Tony is going to donate his winnings to the Scott Lathram Memorial fund that has been set up. I also heard that Kevin Harvick and Elliott Sadler will be donating their winnings to the fund as well.

That was the last stop, now we'll see if anyone has anything for that 6 car in this short run to the end.

"You do realize Biffle cost us the lead."

There goes any job security Biffle thought he had at Roush Racing.

Johnson and Edwards split the lapped car of Waltrip for the lead!

Biffle had a run-in with Kurt Busch earlier this year (Charlotte, if I recall correctly) and now he's drawn Mark Martin's ire. I suspect that he'll be out of a ride before too long. If not over the off-season, then sometime next year.

Mark and Edwards mixing it up for second!

I don't think Mark can catch Johnson unless Jimmie makes a mistake. :(

Loved the part of turning their hats on backwards in memory of lil Hendrick.

http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon14.gif Congrats to Jimmie J and the Hendrick organization - 3 in a row for the 48 team. Couldn't have come at a better time for them.

http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon13.gif At the driver introduction, NBC showed J Go walk on stage and you could hear some of the croud booing. That was disappointing and saddening, ya think the anti-Gordo fans could have bit their tongues for one lousy weekend in light of what happened the previous weekend.

Yes, that is real sad for the fans to be reacting to Gordon in light of the events of last week; shows you how "ignorant" some of them are. If it was Earnhardt, it would have been alright.

A lot of people were deeply affected by that tragic event. I wonder how they would feel if someone close to them had died and someone reacted that way?

Personally, if I were sitting next to someone who had "booed"; they might be going home with a black eye.

That was uncalled for, peroid.
