can anyone offer some advice or tips for removing the top shaft in the evader tranny. i have been trying to get it out with no luck and i am afraid i am going to break something. am i missing something? you have to turn the "cap" on the trans. cover exposing the lock pin. tap the pin out and everything should fall out. well... i cant get the darn pin to come out!

I know that the tranny is similar to losi, and I always used pliers to push it through as far as I could, then gently with side cutters to pry it out.

I had the same problem you just need to take a pair of pliers and either yank the pin out or try to push it through, however if I remember right you can pull the tranny apart without removing that pin.
