Who's Bridge were they on when Archer was mentioning to that female capt about the Weapons upgrades to the bridge?

AND......was it just me or was that bridge gaining more of the 60s TOS layout???

It was her ship. I haven't checked the layout though.

It was NX-02's bridge.

And apparently they had women captains in the 2250s, but it's well-known that they don't in kirk's time.

Maybe not in the TOS. But they started having more Female Captains ....If you remember Star Trek IV the Captain of the Saratoga she was female. Grant we didn't see them on the show that much (besides Voyager) but I'm sure there were more women Captain come time of the movies.

Maybe after losing the 02 and all hands due to "Really bad cramps", Starfleet had to rethink their position on female Captains? ;)

During my 6 years of active duty and 17 years as a reservist, I had several positions on female captains. I would expound further, but this is a family oriented board

They didn't have captains, but Kirk left Uhura in charge a few times, and Sulu looked jealous.

See, that's the thing. They can have them, then not, then they can again. They get promoted, they retire, they die, etc.

I think that Janice Lester was told a little fib by the Starfleet recruiter because she was seen as being just a teensy bit "unstable". :D
