Registration 10:00 - 11:30
Racing starts at 12:00 p.m. $12.00 per class


Dates: Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Jan. 8, Feb. 5, March 5, April 2nd.


Classes
Mini-T, Stock truck, stock buggy, modified truck,
modified buggy, and modified 4wd.
R&L Hobbies must have at least four entries to create a class for all 5 of the races.
Novice class will not qualify for the point series, but can race.



Prizes
The top 3 point winners in each class, (best 5 of 6 races) will be awarded Hobby-Sports.com gift cards after the final race on Saturday, April 2rd. 2005.

$25.00 for 3rd Place

Probobly April 2nd or 9th 2005. Then we begin getting the outdoor track ready for summer. Outdoor Nitro/Elecrtic dirt racing starts May 7th 2005


Remember Lisa, when it does go to carpet :thumbsup: we are still running stadium, And not sissy stadium, Jon and I will build some BIG jumps.
racing on carpet with "speed bumps" isnt Stadium... you'll see, it will be sweet. ;) 12th scale and sedan road course is awesome but I LOVE off-road too so I wont let the off-roaders down....no way...
plus racing on carpet is...

How long do you plan to let the floor dry out before laying out the new carpet? Anyone know how many years that "dirt" has been in there?

maybe there is no dirt to clean with carpet but you still have a bunch of fuzz that you have to pick out of everything (especially bearings) BUT if you guys think you can run the carpet year round that would make it an easier decision to invest the time effort and money into a carpet program and maybe take a run at cleveland next year.

I will be sad to see the dirt go :cry: I come down from Gr about 5 times a year in the winter to race becouse of the dirt.All we have is carpet around here.sounds like next winter I will have to drive to annarbor for dirt.I race on carpet almost ever weekend and its nice to change it up to see how you can do .I hope you plan on having air to blow the carpet fuzz off.Other wise its a pain to sit and pick it off.

NITROROD-
Well first off its 100% clay not dirt.
Second the top layer "1-3" inches is nice and moist after that its sahara desert dry, sandy on the bottom.
Third, are you going to help out or just talk smack?
Fourth, I dont own the place, they may change there minds in 2 months. If and when this happens, Once the shovel breaks ground I will be posting "Its really happening"....

I race Indoor from Aug-May, I have seen you 3 times in 2 years. If your who I think you are. Whats your real name. Or what name do you race down there with.
I race on carpet almost ever weekend ...Kalamazoo and Battle Creek do not have a carpet track, Maybe its time for one.

Last year i ran your points race. I only missed one and that was my drop.As to this winter i have only been there twice.I also came down and ran my 1/8th buggy once last sumer.I always have a good time racing with you guys.I am not bashing the track.Just sorry to see the clay go away.I know this the track was always pack in the winter thats for sure in the summer not so.I am sure the onroad racers will be happy as like you said there is not any carpet around Kzoo.I am sure I will make it down to try it out sometime.Are they going to run carpet sedan in the summer ?

I know that whoever is putting the carpet down is going to want to make shure that there isn't alot of moisture in the concrete below that Clay (sorry about the dirt but sand clay its all dirt to me). One way to test for moisture in concrete is to duct tape a square of plastic down for a day and seeing what comes up. I plan on running down there a few times before the clay is gone also. I like the racing program there and hope it continues into the carpet racing.

NITROROD-
Well first off its 100% clay not dirt.
Second the top layer "1-3" inches is nice and moist after that its sahara desert dry, sandy on the bottom.
Third, are you going to help out or just talk smack?
Fourth, I dont own the place, they may change there minds in 2 months. If and when this happens, Once the shovel breaks ground I will be posting "Its really happening"....

NOTE* If the carpet doesnt end up happening, Jon has promised me they would get some fresh clean fill and alittle sand to "mix" in with the clay- that would make a more workable surface that could be chaged more easily. It would be cool to see a lay-out change every month.

I know it was a ton of work, but when r n l used to have a trophy race once a month and change the layouts the day before the trophy race that place was untouchable, used to be packed for every trophy race. It would be cool to see it go back to that but I understand why it dos'nt.

So Im assuming you will be there for the outdoor gas races? If so you better "bring it!"

We know carpet won the votes, so what is the real reason it hasn't been announced yet? I think no ones wants to work all the extra racing events so they are trying to see if they can work it out.

In need of: offroad (dirt) indoor track for my offroad truck to race at. I'm yet to find a carpet truck for sale since they don't exist. Kinda like a $3 bill.
