I'm sure several here have seen the Monster Legacy collection with the mini busts from Sideshow of the Frankenstein Monster, Dracula & the Wolfman. I thought Sideside did an excellent job on these and was hoping they'd do more.
I've been waiting the the Creature From Black Lagoon collection to come out on DVD and noticed that the Mummy and Invisable Man are also out in the Legacy series.
So my question is, will there be another Collectors set like the first set with mini busts? I think it would be cool to add these Universial Monsters with the first 3 mini busts that were released last year. If there isn't such a set, why not? Didn't the first set sell well? Does anyone know if Sideshow is planning to do any more busts of the Universial Monsters?
I was really hoping a bust of the Creature was going to be released to add to the other three. Any one know anything, please post. Thanks.:)

I had been trying to find out the answer to this ever since I found out that the next three DVD's were coming out.
Unfortunately, the answer that I've been hearing over and over has been no.

Yeah, I think we are out of luck. The new sets (2 discs each) are out this
week but I have not seen anything on another "gift set" with the busts.
Since I am in no rush to order them I have been wating and hoping it might
come out. But I think I am going to be dissapointed.

I wonder why they decided not to issue the busts with this set?

It was a marketing decision. The Dracula/ Frankenstien/ Wolfman trio is regarded by many as the Holy Trinity of classic movie monsterdom. The Creature / Mummy/ Invisible Man films are simply not as popular.

... and having seen a couple of The Mummy and Invisible sequels - that's understandable.

I agree that Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman are by far the most popular of the Monsters but I also think that the Creature is high up on that list.

As far as the sequels go...
Zorro is absolutely right but I also think that goes for all of the Monsters.
The sequels just can't compare to the originals (In my opinion).

Well Said Zor, Okay I understand NO Busts this time but Will I be able to get ALL Three Sets (Invisible,Mummy,Creature) All in a Boxed Set? I've Called and looked Everywhere but I haven't seen them yet (Only Individual Discs) Could Somebody tell me if a Complete Collection is in fact availble?

THANKS

Well "I See" Said the Blind man.

That's okay at least this way I can afford the ones I want first (Creech lol) then "The Mummy's Ghost" I actually enjoyed the Tyler Mummy Although there is one mummy who appears to have Wicker Gloves on (I believe it's from The Mummys Hand?) Anyhoo he looks pretty Corny with the Picnic Basket Gloves on ( I might be thinkin' of a Hammer Mummy)Otherwise I found ALL of em' entertaining! I gotta tell ya' though IMHO I think the Aurora/PL Mummy looks aLOT like Chaney Jr's Mummy rather than Karloff's. See I like my Mummy Shufflin' around in Dirty Bandages rather then Karloff's Portrayl but that's just me.Another Film I really DO NOT care for is the Creature Walks Among Us, I just wanna know where the extra Mass came from when the Creech got his "Humanizing Operation"Hmmm? Suddenly this Swimmer Like Psysique became Ben(The Thing) Grimm (And in Pajamas No Less!!!!) Wha? lol Well Again thanks for the Info Zorro.

The busts were specifically made to coincide with Van Helsing release. All unsold box sets were to be sent back to the distributor after release week. At this point the 3 new ones are packed separately - with no box (rats, I know). The packaging for the set was GR8, aestheticly at least. I believe the majority had "floaters" (loose discs) - which is the case with mine.
