I wen't down to run a few laps and all i can say is this track is awesome and will be fast.A few tweaks with the corners and back straight and it will be a perfect snowbird style track with wide sweeping corners and plenty of speed.I can't wait to try mod.:eek: He will have it ready for next tuesday so bring the 19 turns out so we can get a groove down.This place is awesome with plenty of pit space and power.He has the j-lap system so you can use your personal transponders.You might wan't to bring a stool though.Theres a restaurant in the building with plenty of good food ( burgers,fries,dogs ect ect) So come down tuesday make a few runs and check it out.Tuesday night and saturday morning are the scheduled race days but the oval will be up wednesdays and he will race that night also if you guys wan't to. No it's pretty smooth.He has the carpet layed over asphault.I can't wait for tuesday.:D

There are some bumps around the short edges that we noticed in touring car. But if you hit them with your oval car......your WAY off the line. From what we could tell, the oval driving line is pretty smooth.

Can't wait to have you and the guys here for our first Tuesday night race. The track is set up the way you asked for. The sweepers are 16' wide and the lanes are 11' wide. I did push the track away from the 8'6" driverstand so the drivers can have a more natural view of the track. This means that the lane closest to the driver stand is more like 20' wide. This way you can have your speed and not get neck cramps! ;) The only thing I am waiting on are the corner dots. I found some 8", orange micro car dots and they should be in on Tuesday afternoon. The PitStop Cafe will be open so there will be plenty of hot and cold food, no need to waste race time at Burger King.

Long time racer new to oval. What are the rules for the 1/10 oval pan class at Hobby Chamber. Also I'm going to be running a 10L4 any set up info for it. I'm a total newbie to oval so any help would be appriciated. I will only be running at Hobby Chamber so a good set up for there is what I realy need. Thanks in advance and hope to see you there on Tuesdays very soon.

I live very close to HC and plan on running oval with you guys. Has a day been decided on yet. I heard that tuesday nights may be moved to saturday mornings only. Also is there going to be a 4cell stock class. Finaly I am totaly new to oval racing even though I have ben racing for over 18years. I have a 10l4 and realy need help setting it up. Do you have any advice for a starting st-up? If posible would you be able to help me dial the car in at the track one day if I was to meet you there? :thumbsup:

Mom is OK, she is 63 and looking for attention. Thanks for asking. We race on Friday nights so there will not be any practice on November 12. This Saturday will be dead for oval racing because of VT. We are not going to bother to set the track up for oval. We are also considering killing Saturday Oval racing all together. We have never had anyone show up. Tuesday nights are also not going well. If it wasn’t for the Bat, there would never be a line down for oval. I’m not sure what we are going to do about Tuesday night oval yet. Will keep you posted.

untill the regionals, so that means this saturday and next tuesday are the only practice

would love to get down for the race, but there is no way to get there b4 the weekend of the race.with no practice time b4 the race except an hour or 2 it really is not feasable for many people to make the trip. will the track be set up friday the 12th? if so then just might have to make the trip.

Mark and I ,,,,I think we were planning some testing at K&N on Saturday because he has to do Inventory on Sunday, but, I think we'll both agree on the shorter trip. :thumbsup:

NO on the friday, they race another class on fridays, they have had no oval guys
showing in the last 3 weeks, other then 2 or 3 locals, but many of us did not know about this track running oval at all. The track is awesome, plenty of pits/power
just need some drivers to start showing....
The Regionals is a one day event, Saturday, so we have this saturday and next tuesday left to practice.

looks like i wont be heading down. probably wont be the only one. why would a track host a regional and have only a 1 day! event. oooh well.
