Hey check out my tire truer. I made the following mods;

1. Bearing support for slider.

2. Teflon rods for slider

3. Shaft was cut on a lathe to fit standard arbors. Very true!

4. Cutter moved to rear because of motor change. Opposite rotation.

I found it here. www.mcmaster.com (http://www.mcmaster.com/) Type "3334" in the "find product" section on the top left. You might want to look at the other 100,000 things they have to help lower shipping. :)

I also have a Max Mod and it works great. I want to race a TC3 Touring Car this winter and need to get an arbor to do the tires. It looks like the arbor should have some kind of reducer to a thinner rod to hold the touring car tires.

Any Ideas?
