We have a oval racing club called N.O.R.A. that races carpet oval indoors in the winter up in Mt Vernon Washington. The last building we rented we could only get for friday nights so we had to make our racing program portable, so we built a trailer that all our carpet, PVC and everthing necessary to run races fits in. Anyway, this summer we put on a promotional race for a local grocery store QFC. We setup our indoor carpet oval outside and had a blast. Just wondering if any other clubs have done this before. The weather could have brought a quick end to it, but it worked out. Here's a few pics of it, and a few of my car just for the heck of it.

i have love for anyone who runs on carpet indoors,outdoors, upside down or inside out! looks like a blast! well except for the lack of A/C ???

I saw the photo with the guys holding the J. Gordon and Waltrip cars and I don't see wings. Do I have that right. You can also see the price of gasoline in the background of that photo. It's about $2.25/gal here in CA.

Lester where are you from noticed the race factory sticker. Have known Phil for long,long,lllllloooooogggggg Time. We have also thought about outdoor carpet races.
