And is this motor gonna be brought into all 19turn classes? EDM, 12th, maybe 10th?? fREAkBrought into all 19T classes, and like Tone said, $25, should be availalbe at the next race. Nick wayneny 10-06-2004, 08:56 AM Mike H. If you can stop by the next outdoor race we have them there. Some indoor racers racers already picked them up at the last race. They are 25.00 and if you want to run any 19turn class that is the motor you have to run. On another note- The new carpet has been ordered. Not sure of delivery date yet. I am also working on coming up with new pipe for the inside. We'll see how that works out. Talk to all soon......WAYNE nicwald 10-06-2004, 09:44 AM Here's a link to the old thread (where theres a link to the older still thread :) ) http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=82720 Nick MixMastaMM 10-06-2004, 09:52 AM Here's a link to the old thread (where theres a link to the older still thread :) ) http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=82720 NickLets go for 4000 posts on the old thread. Can you change anything on the motor? I guess I am number 3 who is interested in tc 19t roadcourse. I have a used tc3 with irrgang carbonfiber/graphite chassis. Thanks Robert eviltone 10-06-2004, 02:11 PM For 19t tc roadcourse, can you run anything you want, just need the club 19t motor. Can you change anything on the motor? Thanks Robert you can change BRUSHES and springs on the motor, and thats about it.... that TC3 of yours sounds great! i mean i am sure there will be a few XRAY cars, and XXX-S cars and stuff on the road course too.... -Tone eviltone 10-06-2004, 02:14 PM Lets go for 4000 posts on the old thread. Thanks! i got a good question - if someone was looking for a 12th scale pan car, what one should that person get? -Tone nicwald 10-06-2004, 03:24 PM For 19t tc roadcourse, can you run anything you want, just need the club 19t motor. Thanks Robert There's more than 3 that are interested Robert. On the motor you can change springs and brushes, its like racing a stock class, just with a little faster motor. Nick eviltone 10-06-2004, 03:26 PM we still got one more outdoor race Rofl.... i know that, but - might as well change it now. I jumped the gun EVER so slightly! -Tone eviltone 10-06-2004, 03:28 PM October 17th is gonna be a SPECIAL race day. i am bringing out the TRAXXAS Stampede to run OFF-ROAD! Beetle Body Time..... -Tone nicwald 10-06-2004, 03:32 PM for once i agree wit mike I think he will change his tune then. Nick whatever we're running the 12th scales in....in the 19turn class..... irs RugRat? -Tone satrnfreak 10-06-2004, 04:37 PM Well Tone, i ran my 12L3O with pretty good success last season. Marty bought a Hyperdrive and went back to his 12L3(hidden message). Get what you want, im sure they are all gonna be just as competitive, i think Nick when he ran 12th was running an old azz 12L. FreAk eviltone 10-06-2004, 04:43 PM Well Tone, i ran my 12L3O with pretty good success last season. Marty bought a Hyperdrive and went back to his 12L3(hidden message). Nick Lets go with this thread. Both Nick and Tone drive a hard bargain. Mike satrnfreak 10-06-2004, 06:20 PM Hey Tone, i think the best for both of you would be some sort of pan car, and using the same scale would help too(truing arbors, tires, parts). If he aint up for doing 12th Mod, let him have a go at stock, we have damn tight racing and fairly cheap(stock motor, i ran the same 4cell all year, every race), and an older chassis would probably be just as good as a newer one in stock... fREaK nicwald 10-06-2004, 06:48 PM Well Tone, i ran my 12L3O with pretty good success last season. FreAk Hey it was only like 12 years old...I think LG got the Carpet Knife from Calandra, it looked pretty good. I think just stick with Associated, they're simple and just as competitve as anything else. Nick nicwald 10-06-2004, 06:49 PM Werd.... thanks Mike.... a plain jane 12l3o sounds good... tryin to get my bro into some sort of car this winter..... -Tone How about a Street Spec or a T-Spec? Nick SHADOW 10-06-2004, 07:09 PM Werd.... thanks Mike.... a plain jane 12l3o sounds good... tryin to get my bro into some sort of car this winter..... -Tone Get a good car tone, nothing beats the hyperdrive. Nick i was workin him over on a T-Spec... but he doesnt wanna race the same class as craig and the other freaks... i guess he's a little sick of them.... anyways.. i think he wants a TC3, but then again, i could be wrong. i'm just tryin to help him along..... -Tone rgross98 10-06-2004, 08:32 PM i was workin him over on a T-Spec... but he doesnt wanna race the same class as craig and the other freaks... i guess he's a little sick of them.... anyways.. i think he wants a TC3, but then again, i could be wrong. i'm just tryin to help him along..... -Tone Hey Tone & and others, I have an hpi rs4 sport 2 with full ball bearings rolling chasis. It has very little use on it. The rear pulley has some wear but still holds together (I might possibly even have a spare somewhere). If anyone is looking to save some money. I am willing to sell it for $70 with a yellow porsche body. I will include everything I have for it, very little spares, because I never really used it much. I do have the original box and directions. ALso if I sell the car, I will also throw in a traxxas tq3 radio and reciever (with crystals) for another $10. If anyone wants a low priced touring car to run let me know. Also looking to move a B3 pretty much all factory rolling chasis if anyone is interested. And an HPI rs4 electric MT Roller. Robert satrnfreak 10-06-2004, 09:06 PM Ok, so T-spec might not be his game, but what about S-spec?? Here is another group of tight racers, with tons of experience, always willing to help out.... Yeah, LG did have a Calandra car, but didnt he swap over the rear tubes for a 3shock associated set-up?? He did have a good showing, but that was in 19 turn...... Does the Calandra have a weight advantage over the 12L3?? It may be worth a look Tone, it is pretty cost competitive.. www.calandraracing.com (http://www.calandraracing.com) fREaK kybob 10-06-2004, 09:12 PM Hey charlie or wayne can you save me that last blue endbell paradox stock motor for indoors, i really need another stock one becuase my brother took my other stock one craftmastaschiz 10-06-2004, 09:13 PM no erik i told u on the phone i was going to ask him that cause i wanted it ur so gay craftmastaschiz 10-06-2004, 09:14 PM hey rob how is ur other revo kybob 10-06-2004, 09:17 PM no erik i told u on the phone i was going to ask him that cause i wanted it ur so gay what are you talking about craig i told you i needed another one because i like that paticular stock motor and i only have 1 stock motor craftmastaschiz 10-06-2004, 09:18 PM no u dont erik i need the motor kybob 10-06-2004, 09:22 PM i only have one and thats my bros eviltone 10-06-2004, 09:26 PM Ok, so T-spec might not be his game, but what about S-spec?? Fastest 12th I've ever run. Dirk, its not for me, or i would highly consider it... its for my bro, and ANYONE who's seen him drive the Tmaxx on the oval knows, he likes speed and dont care what he hits (or who - for that matter)... he does drive the maxx better than i do, tho... this is a hard decision..... i wanna make sure he has SOMETHING to run this winter.... -Tone eviltone 10-06-2004, 09:32 PM Hey charlie or wayne can you save me that last blue endbell paradox stock motor for indoors, i really need another stock one becuase my brother took my other stock one i already got it... too bad for you guys..... the paradoxes are very easy to fix/tune.... but mebbe ya'll should learn the new motors.. i know they start the gearing at least 3 teeth less that the paradoxes..... -Tone eviltone 10-06-2004, 09:33 PM what are you talking about craig i told you i needed another one because i like that paticular stock motor and i only have 1 stock motor STOP FIGHTING BOTH OF YOU!! I am going to leave it sealed and this xmass or next summer I will either use it or trade it in for the latest and greatest what ever that is on the market. It seems every few months there is something new and better hitting the shelves. But, if someone were to make me an offer of $430, I would probably sell it now, but I am not going out of my way to sell it now, becuase I know I will use the money before next outdoor season and that means less leverage to use with the wife for a new truck next year. Robert rgross98 10-06-2004, 09:53 PM I currently have a 12l3 sitting on my shelf. Is it possible to compete with it even though it is not an oval version? Unless, there is interest in an 1/12 scale onroad class????Bueller???Anyone?? :) Robert craftmastaschiz 10-06-2004, 10:05 PM rob u r so lucky u got that for like $25 out of all those other tickets satrnfreak 10-06-2004, 10:08 PM Chris Wyne did pretty well with a 12L3 standard. Ran it with 3cells on one side and one on the other. I'm not saying that an "O" wouldnt be better, but if thats what you got, run it....... Kybob, what are you looking at racing?? Stock or Mod? Stock i would say most any Oval chassis will do you right, OLD or New. But Mod, i would say you would need at least a 12L3 or something a little newer. Im sure it can be run with other stuff, and cheaper stuff, but this is my $.02. Tone, S-SPEC IS NOT DEAD!!!! There are several of us who will carry the torch...LOL. There is one on EBAY right now for $55 i think....... New, tower still sells them. Im sure Tech can still get them too..... Has anyone run OUR dirt oval with foams?? Would they be advantageous, or just a nightmare?? I have heard thru the grapevine that foams allow you to drift ALOT and this just sounds like fun to me. Well guys, good luck at th last outdoor race..... i might stop by and pick up one of those 19's.. FreAK MixMastaMM 10-06-2004, 10:17 PM Has anyone run OUR dirt oval with foams?? Would they be advantageous, or just a nightmare?? I have heard thru the grapevine that foams allow you to drift ALOT and this just sounds like fun to me. FreAK A while back my dad tried his RC-10T on the oval with foams and they sorta worked. I think the track is too dusty to try them now. I do know that they hook up good on clean clay. A little track in PA had a foams only rule that made for some fun times on a little oval. Mike USPatriot 10-06-2004, 10:17 PM Off the topic, mike h when are the pics of us at paragon going to be on davids(question mark). Also to anyone that is out there, i have a futaba 2pl remote, with 2 recievers set of crystals, 2 3004 servos, and 2 sets of extra gears, i am looking for around 60 bucks, it works and it good shape I also have a dually for sale, i just pulled it out of my truck so it works, and i want like around 50 for it, if any one interested email me at USPatriot3k@yahoo.com eviltone 10-06-2004, 10:22 PM Tone, S-SPEC IS NOT DEAD!!!!
