Will there be 2 point series again this winter? I think the first one last year was 6 weeks--5 best finishes counting.

10-20-2004, 06:23 PM
kyle, i'm going to be running truck mod and maybe 4wd too on sunday about once a month give or take. i may even make it up there on a friday or two and give stock racing a shot. i would be up there every week but it's about an hour and a half from my house so i will get there when i can.

Ryan,
Are you coming up for the gas blast this Sun ? If you don't have anything to race it's worth the trip to come see the 1/8th scale A main on the big track. There will be alot of VERY good drivers. I'll probably end up in the C or D main. They are amazing and I learn something every time I watch them . Maybe I should enter my truck in 8th scale.. I was faster with my truck than my buggy last sun in the final's at DR's.

you could run you're t3 in indoor offroad all you would need are some foam tires and a club stock motor and you'd be set. the indoor offroad setup is kida lame but there is always some close competition. the other class i would recomend is t-spec, the cars only cost 120.00 and it comes with the spec motor and battery. it should be a pretty competitive class too because alot of people are going to run them (including myself) and they are all going to be very similar in speed.

IcpJuggalo
10-21-2004, 10:08 PM
Kyle, I think you should go with T-spec. Not too expensive at all. :freak: :jest:

How long do the foam tires last ?

depends, my truck foams went 1/2 of last season and i am to get another season out of them. i'm not sure exactly how long they will last on the t-spec but from what people tell me probably a bit over half the season.

Lou just got new dirt for the inside track. So I'm not really sure what is going to really work. Last year holeshots and evil twins worked. We'll be at the track tonight so I'll try to find out what Lou thinks will work and post back tonight.
