Congrats, you deserve it!! __________________ Brent Pearcy Bulit Motorsports (http://www.bulitmotorsports.com/), TQCells (http://www3.sympatico.ca/tqcells/), BSR Racing Tires (http://www.bsr-racing.com/), SROC Racing (http://www.geocities.com/s_roc_racing) Arnie Fie 04-30-2005, 01:05 PM Hey all, thanks for the kind words. Halo was good to CW last weekend. In Stock it was a CW front row with Steve Salvas TQ'ing and Terry Warner rolling out 2nd. The Stock "A" was tough, the start was amazing, all 10 cars on a heads up start were across the line in under 2.5 sec without a wreck. 19-Turn saw TJ Domark TQ with the first TrueSpeed 19turn motors we will be selling and along with his car was definately the man to beat. Dusty Kemp, Dave Zipp and Salvas also had their CW cars in the 19-Turn show. Corey Heft and Koback were also fast in 19-Turn, but TJ definately had it for the entire 4 minutes every run. In Brushless Phil Beardshear looked to be driving a Cadillac all weekend as he nailed down the win. As for mod, I did not find any speed until after qualifying was over, found a much better set-up and Jim found some motor and the combo helped us find the lap+ we were off. To be able to out run guys in the main like Pete D and Walter was rewarding. Wish I had more time to talk at Halo, but it was nice matching Hobbytalk Handles with faces last weekend. We'll have my set-up posted on the CW site soon along with Steve Salvas' winning Stock set-up from the "Classic" race held at St. Roch in Quebec back in April. Steve handled the field of 87 Stock entries with his Aggressor for the win. Time to start getting ready for the Seaford race.... TJ Domark 05-02-2005, 01:36 PM From TJ Domark -- This is my Nats. motor Set Up - I used to TQ by 1/2 lap over 2nd and 3rd place and over a full lap on the rest of the field. 19T TrueSpeed Timing: 30deg Springs: Purple + / - Brush: 4383 Gearing: Gear about 1 tooth lower then your *Cobalt / D5 base cans * What I liked about this set up was how consistant it was. My fall off w/ a Cobalt or D5 base can was about 3 tenths over 4min * The TrueSpeed 19T was only falling off about 1.5 tenths over 4min *This motor @ about the 2min. pt in the race would walk away from the field. ** Def. a Big Thumbs up for TrueSpeed 19T, :) * Sorry I couldnt post that Ingural Win --- that the motor def. deserved -- vwal 05-02-2005, 04:16 PM So...a little more info on the new mill would be nice.... DJ_Skribble 05-03-2005, 09:44 PM Arnie: You know any shop or onliner that has this car in stock? jbm38 05-04-2005, 12:35 AM I have seen NEW kits on e-bay with the buy-it now price.. What I'd like to know is where are the TRUESPEED motors available from? Chris Garland 05-04-2005, 07:53 AM For being such a great car they sure are hard to get/find????? Racin Steve 05-04-2005, 08:19 AM For being such a great car they sure are hard to get/find????? Have your local hobby called CustomWorks? Steve. Chris Garland 05-04-2005, 08:34 AM Have your local hobby called CustomWorks? Steve. Yeah right!!! That would be a no. We are forced to buy most of our stuff online. Our hobby shop could sell you all kinds of T-Maxx hop ups though. They could care less..Superior in orlando I think stocks them but I'm not sure. It's just I always see someone asking "do you know where can find one" BrentP 05-04-2005, 08:41 AM ........It's just I always see someone asking "do you know where can find one"Hey Chris, trust me, this is how it is with every great oval car. Oval chassis companies are pretty small compared to all the others & it is very hard for them to get enough graphite cut & aluminum milled to keep up with the demand. Trust me guys this car is worth the wait, I had two of them & thought I'd go back to a KSG so I sold one of them. Boy I wish I had my 2nd CW back now! __________________ Brent Pearcy Bulit Motorsports (http://www.bulitmotorsports.com/), TQCells (http://www3.sympatico.ca/tqcells/), BSR Racing Tires (http://www.bsr-racing.com/), SROC Racing (http://www.geocities.com/s_roc_racing) Andy 05-04-2005, 09:00 AM Y-city hobbies in Zanesville OH has a couple of kits on hand. They also have extra bumpers tplates and other items for the car. There # 740-455-3025 they open @ 5:00 PM just ask for Kevin. Arnie Fie 05-04-2005, 09:57 AM Chris Garland: Superior does stock our products in Florida. Good on-line guy is KippsHobbies.com if you want to go that route. Due to problems out of our control, we have been out of kits for a couple weeks, but always keep replacement parts on-hand. What good is a car that you can not get parts for? We may be hard to find now but give us time...BTW kits will be back in stock on Monday. JBM38: TrueSpeed motors found in the same hobbyshops you find other CW products! LOL You coming to Seaford? BrentP: This is not how we want it to be but thanks for understanding. Chris Garland 05-04-2005, 11:51 AM Thanks Arnie.. It is a good car.. Dave P. here has two getting around the track pretty good. cneyedog 05-04-2005, 12:00 PM Chris, I bought my kit from kippshobbies as well (no one else had them)..... when i bought mine he had spare parts except the coveted shock towers that a bunch of us are anxiously waiting to get a hold of. I was able to get a spare front bumper and bottom pod plate ....... that was about a month ago. Send him an e-mail he's good about getting back to you and answerwing questions. Rich Boehmler Chris Garland 05-04-2005, 01:01 PM Cool thanks Rich rcgen 05-04-2005, 01:01 PM Hey Chris there are a couple on sale in the swap section. Donnie, one the Ga racers is selling his or is wanting a trade... Chris Garland 05-04-2005, 01:03 PM Hey Chris there are a couple on sale in the swap section. Donnie, one the Ga racers is selling his or is wanting a trade... No more used Oval cars. My last two have been new and I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks anyways Eugene davepull 05-04-2005, 03:43 PM I must say I have bought my cars from Superior and the othe from Kipp. if I had to do it over again www.kippshobbies.com all the way. he is just such a nice guy. you don't get to meet people like him often. As for the handling and adjustablity of the Agressor. this is the best oval car I have ever owned and driven. the graphite is high quality and superiorly cut. design is well thought out and revolutionary. and the car is just flat out fast. I ran 4 batteries with my 19T car and made the decision that I needed another one for stock. Arnie Fie 05-04-2005, 05:09 PM Cneyedog: Oh yeah...shock towers. They should arrive and will go out tomorrow if everything goes as it was told to me. The towers have been beefed up and there is a brace available to eliminate flex when running really stiff side springs on high bite tracks. The brace fits the newer tower and is available separately, however the brace will be standard in the kit now. Goodwreck32001 05-04-2005, 05:52 PM Hey Arnie, Is the part number for this new brace/shock tower listed yet? Also, are there any pics so I can see how it fits? jbm38 05-05-2005, 02:04 AM ARNIE, I'd love to go to Seaford but, I think I would get charged with going AWOL!!!:p But, I'll see ya' when I get home from this big sand lot. Later John B. Arnie Fie 05-05-2005, 09:45 AM Goodwreck32001: Tower is still the same part #8012, the brace is #8019. No pics yet of the brace but basically it is a foot that runs from the tower to the chassis. JBM38: You'd probably be the front-runner for the longest distance traveled award if you did come....LOL Ralf 05-05-2005, 03:10 PM Anyone run an Agressor with a novak 5800 brushless on a banked concrete oval? What is a good set up (cap tires) to start with? Side shock springs/oil, center shock spring/oil, front springs, tires? Thanks Ralf 13 BrentP 05-05-2005, 03:27 PM You going to BMS Ralf???? __________________ Brent Pearcy Bulit Motorsports (http://www.bulitmotorsports.com/), TQCells (http://www3.sympatico.ca/tqcells/), BSR Racing Tires (http://www.bsr-racing.com/), SROC Racing (http://www.geocities.com/s_roc_racing) Ralf 05-06-2005, 10:34 AM Been thinking about trying it out. I am also re-building a used CW sprinter for the dirt this summer. There is another track a little farther away that I am hoping to make a few weekend trips to. Thunder Alley R/C Speedway has a Concrete Oval that races brushless on Saturday evenings, and Dirt Oval (also brushless) on Sunday afternoons. I am hoping to do a couple of weekends this summer there for both tracks.
