Its not warm enough here to run outdoors yet, can't wait to get out on the asphalt. I tried them once, they didn't work for me but I know that some guys are running good on them. I'm very happy with the BSR's, alot of compound choices, really helps dailing in the car.

Arnie, thats a very nice setup page ....... I know you posted a setup for flat asphalt a couple pages back on this thread, any chance you could fill in the blanks on that setup sheet for us and post that on the CW website ?

BTW, you were very cool at the birds answering questions about the car for my buddy Ronnie .... it was appreciated that you took the time.

As mentioned a few places have them in stock. I spoke to Arnie a few days ago and more kits should be available in 2 or 3 weeks, they're selling as fast as they make them, and well worth the wait.

There is nobody running this car on the WEST COAST apparently, are there any plans to change that and do some targeting out here?

We seem to be Associated/X-Factor , KSG and Hyperdrive territory by the polling I've done within my SWTour series (Which is made up of most of the west coast oval racers or at least toward the South...)

SWTour, have your local hobby shop give Custom Works a call at #704-489-8147. I am sure CW can set them up with some kits.

I can assure you, if your the first to get one in your area, everyone will be wanting one after your kicking their butts with it!! This car is the real deal for sure. Everything you need in one kit. You wont be dissapointed.

Beach,

I know at least one of the tracks/hobby shops that our series runs at had one in stock, problem is a lot of the guys out here want to know they've got support and parts, etc.

Oval on the WEST Coast is small compared to back east, we've got the travelling series that I promote/direct mostly in Southern Calif. and a handfull of tracks in NORTHERN Calif ( Up in JPH/ Maverick territory)

I have no doubt the car is KILLER, but w/o some factory support it's hard for some of the cars to get a fair shake.

...our series runs 10 races in 10 months...

We currently are using 3 FLAT tracks (Asphalt w/ FOAM tires) and a VELODROME

The flat tracks are all different sizes and grip and prove to be quite challenging. The VELODROME is strictly about SPEED!

I'm keeping my eyes out for the First AGGRESSOR on the SWTour grid...

i just wanted to take a second to let the custom works guys know that dave pulifaco and rich boehmler did a great job at focar race # 1 at TQ hobbies saturday. dave took down the pro stock class and rich b took the win in pro 19 turn..you have to be on your game to win either of those classes! nice job fellas you did custom works proud!

Thanks Katf1sh! ..... I went to the first FOCAR race of the year with my Customworks freshly built during the week, hoping it would do well in its first race. The first time I put the car on the track it was GOOD ..... and with some minor tweak adjustments it got better as the day went on. I made the A-main and took home the win first time out with the new car ..... was happy with the car all day getting the win was just icing on the cake ...... was nice to have a great handling race car that launches off the corner.

Congrats to Dave Pulifaco for winning the pro stock A-main !with his customworks ride ... good job!..... including myself, Dave, + Troy Schafer and Ronnie Hames ....... 4 of the 10 cars in the 19T Pro Mod A-main were customworks cars.

Rich Boehmler

p.s. when will the shock towers be available ? ...... we need some down here in florida.

Todd wanted me to post a reply about emails sent recently. This comes from Todd himself and I am not responsible for reactions.

He said to call him on the phone 518-452-0422.

And yes, he was away over the weekend at a race that wasn't the nats. He returned my call from over the weekend today after I left a message on his machine.

So, give him a call.
