Roar
I've been a loyal R/C racer since 1986. I started racing oval at hobbytown back then and we raced 4 minutes in stock. It is now 2005, 19 years later and Roar is still running 4 minutes in stock class. With the technology we have in batteries (1400 then, 3300 now) and motors, we should be running 5 minutes in stock class. We run 5 minutes in stock class at our local track and still have over 100 seconds of run time left in our batteries.

Roar allows stock touring to run 5 minutes so why can't the oval cars run 5 minutes also? I think it's time for Roar to step up to the plate in the new millenium and allow stock oval class to run 5 minute races. We've been running 4 minutes long enough and now it's time to evolve. I know that I am not alone in this matter; we have raced in different states that race 5 minutes locally already.

Roar, it's time to move ahead to the new future of R/C racing.

I agree with Eddie, had a terrific time, good close racing and a very good job of running the show.

For those who missed what a facility and great group of people to race with.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank HobbytownUSA Omaha for puttinig on a fine event this past weekend. They have a first class facility and first class operation. I just wish that you were several hours closer. I think that I can speak for all of the Colorado crowd and say that we can't wait to come back. After a long drive home and a couple of long days at work, I sleep now.......

I unfortunately won't be at the upcoming race in vinton. After a week at the Snowbirds, two race weekends in between and this long weekend race, I need a week or two off.

Anyone going to run oval at the plex this weekend? Danny B and me were thinking of coming over. What classes are going to be run if your going.

Rob M. and I are looking at going this Saturday. We both have brushless cars because I think that may be all they have. But if you guys come over and want to run something else, I,m sure Rob would convert the cars to 19T open real quick.

Sweet. Sonny's coming again. It'll be on like Donkey Kong.

I'll be running the races again this year, so I'm looking forward to seeing some great races. I won't be there this weekend, because of the offroad regionals, but I'll be there from next week on.

I'm trying to get some guys to run sedan oval with me.

Later,

Im looking forward to doing battle again Sonny. Just make sure you PEAK your battery this time ;). This weekend could be a little interesting especially if we run mod. New car, first day on carpet, no oval groove at all. HMMMMMMMMMMM????????? might be something to video tape

You got the no groove part right. One reason why I thought of running mod sedan oval was to help the groove out a little. I'm always thinking of you.

Hey FroBoy
Will the Hobbyplex have a two day oval race next spring. I hope so as the Regionals were fun at the Hobbyplex last spring and it would be great to have another two day oval race in addition to the November 11,12,13 weekend.
