All I have to say is that Charlie Moon is my new Hero!!!!!!Great Job Charlie!!!

That was one of the best races I have ever seen. :thumbsup:

And lots of people laugh at 19 - 0, it makes for a very competitive class. They spin them on a dyno and say "yuk", give them some gear and the can last for many weekends of racing before rebuilds and remain consistant. It also seems that most of the motors are very close, whether its a ti or an epic, usually within 2 to 3 watts on the dyno.


I wish I could have seen that race, that is the only problem with racing is sometimes you miss the best race because your in it.

It is a good class, the first 3 cars were no more than 15 feet apart for the whole race! I personally like 19 turn mod better but I have ran "0" before & it is a ton of fun too.

Thanks to you and all the oval racers that ran on Sunday. The track is great and I had a great time even though my car did not want to cooperate. I am looking forward to running next week and in the weeks to come.

I agree slowpoke it was a great day and well ran, car count down alittle, could be first race like that there or just to late in the season(to nice outside). Had a good day myself up until the main T.Q. and break at the start of the main, Maybe my mechanic should be fired for leaving the t plate screw loose. Could have been a good race top 3 cars Qualifiyed with in 2 seconds of each other in mod. Way to go phil and Charlie what a race third (Rick M. ) was real close also in that race(19-0). Stock Phil won but 2,3,4, ran a close race. Thanks to hobbie Plex for the race and to the guys who gave prizes away.

Congrats to Brent Pearcy on a new 19T Open track record and to Charlie Moon on his awesome .02 second victory in 19T"0". That was one of the best races I've ever seen and let alone called. Check the HobbyPlex web site for the announcement, Tim is going to run a nine week series which should start in a couple weeks. There is no Sunday oval for the next two weeks. :thumbsup:

I just wanted to let everybody know that we are planning on having a big race this summer at our new "bull-ring" track in Longmont, Colorado this summer. It's small, it's flat, it's fast....and one heck of a great time. We'll keep you posted on the exact date, but figure sometime mid to late July. Hope to see you all there!!

We stayed at the laquinta, near the track and close to perkins. It's within about 3 blocks of the track and very easy to locate.

I'm sure that that there will be a couple of us run 19t or open mod.:thumbsup:

I will have my 19t car and my mod car:thumbsup: and my 6 cell if we do that.

I would like to run 1/10 19 turn for sure & 1/12 19 turn or 1/10 stock.

Cool. Anything but stock. There isnt enough racing or speed in that stock stuff for me. Looking forward to seeing you guys. It should make for some good racing.
