Rocket, Glad to see you're going to be there. Just a couple more weeks with the real cars and I'll be back to the rc racing knocking off the rust from the summer off. Hey are you using the KO speed controler still? I need to talk to you about the progaming if you figured them out yet:cool:

steve ,

the orl race at the hilltop on oct. 10 starts at 12 noon

the orl does have a 1/12 th. scale class i believe 19 turn but they seem not to be running it regularly , you know the drill 3 or more makes a class .

i'll be there the 9 th. and the 2 day race stop by and say hi !

hey jim whats up. gonna be nice racing with you this weekend. and everyone else also. should be packed! as for the 19t rules i believe it is any 19t this sat but on sunday it will be the ORL rules for the classes they are running. i could be wrong but i dont see why Bill would change rules without having a drivers meeting. so basicly any Arcor or chamelian motor on sat. and just the ORL motors for sunday. i hope thats right. gonna be alot of 12th scale racing so eveyrone be ready. lol i hope i am finally.

eviltone bring anything you have and im sure you will be able to race it. mini-t gets big at marshalls and busch is very competative. hope that helps.

another thing on the Fall classic. im pretty sure they will be having the 10% discount on what you buy on the weekend. thats how it has been every other year so i think its the same this year. there are items that arent at discount also. i dont have details but just lettin everyone that wanted to know that info just incase.

Busch Class Tires: someone gave me a tire setup that should be good, but i was wondering if anyone had any other sugestions.
i purchased an l3 USED at marshalls this summer. it was in the case, and it has a blue and green body with the crome silver #8 on it.

it was grey rears, green left front, black right front.

anyone got any other suggestions?

Dirk,
will he take pre-registration over the phone? i cant make it over there till the friday before. i've got 3 classes that i'd like to run. Busch, mini-t, and TC road course.

are there any battery limitations in the TOURING car road course class?? i heard in truck, that you can only run an $18.00 battery.

Hey Nick yes they have a website. its http://www.marshallshilltophobbies.com . I reccomend that you give Bill and Dot Marshall a call for all your answers. the number is 570-729-7458 and that is the best way to get all your hotel and your directions. it is a fun race i hope to see you there. i do know that it takes 3.5 hours from Stafford Springs to Marshalls. so depending on where you live from there would determine how long it would take for you. anyways hope to see yah there and see how fast you are there. its different then most flat tracks in the setup department, from what i have heard. i think you might like it! seeya

PUF19
11-04-2004, 05:51 PM
Joe in what way is it different? what do you guys run for tires
stock/19T and do the 19T guys run wings??
thanks
NICK

Dale
11-04-2004, 06:52 PM
Hey Nick, stock and 19 turn same tires, white left rear ,grey right rear, black right front and grey or green left front. Most 19t guys run wings stock no wing. Sometimes two white rears or two grey rears depends on conditions. Front springs red wolfe right and green wolfe left. Get the car as low as you can without rubbing and go race!!

Porksalot4L
11-04-2004, 11:05 PM
well the main difference is that you have to have alot of left trim. when your car is goin slow on the str8s it should look like it turns to the left alot. once you get on power it should go str8. as screwy as that sounds its true. :) somthing to do with the carpet i guess. for set up i agree with dale pretty much except the part about no wing in stock. not everyone runs one but the guy with the record runs one. 19t almost everyone runs the wing. 35 side shock weight with red right spring and gold left. 60 weight cent with soft center spring. hope that gets you close!

Pete D'agnolo has that record and he got it a few weeks back. umm stock record is 59 somthing incase you care :) so far no Customworks cars have been to the track so that will be interesting :) seeya!
