I was visiting a well-known sci-fi model shop in south London (England) and the proprietor showed me some sketches for a new computer controlled puppet/CGI Thunderbirds TV show.

I have no other details (dates, episode length, country of origin, etc.) but these were original sketches depicting realistic characters very much based on the original TV show and interesting variations of the Thunderbird craft (these were only early sketches).

It looked interesting.

Last I heard it was cancelled before it got past pre-production art.
Did the certain proprietor say how old the art was?

Maybe it's getting mixed up with the CGI New Captain Scarlet series that's currently in production. That one's scheduled for release in Fall 2005. Looks pretty good, too.

At least Gerry Anderson is involved with Captain Scarlet. He has made some of the captains women, which upset a few old timers.

I hope the TB thing is a leftover from the bomb movie. " then after we make 200 million, we'll come out with a series...." HA HA.

He said he'd only had it a couple of weeks.

So how much did he want for these magic beans?

Sounds like it might be back on, then. Cool.
Did he mention the name of a certain producer/director that has hairy feet and likes to show them off in association with this series?

He mentioned two names. One he referred to only as David although I'm not sure he was associated with this project. The other one has the initials PJ (the one with the hairy feet?).

That's the one.
But then he ALWAYS mentions PJ...
