hey randy I will be in the area on the 20th so I will see you all that saturday I probobly wont race but I will stop by so you have about 3 weeks to get that spare car ready hahaha and whats up with you running stock

I thought it would be fun and a change of pace. I was also not sure how the new carpet would reacte and thought running stock would be the best bet. I had fun even with Johnny trying to put me out.LOL
I think I'll be running alot of stock this year.

umm i'm gonna run a lil bit of stock and alot of 19t full blown to answer your question eric nobody has ran 48 yet but Randy J. ran a fast 45 I went up in smoke!!!!! LOL just trying some stuff. And Chris yea last week and ran him up to the wall but this weekend i went to pass him on the inside and ran me into the end fill lol GOOD TIMES

I want to start running at Sandhills in the 4 cell spec class. Who would be a good person to talk to about a basic setup for a L4

ummm welll the only one i know of that runs a l4 is Greg Honeycutt but he runs MOD so a good 4 cell spec setup would probably be Phillip Harwood he is the man in spec and they run it pretty weekly don't know how to get In touch with him but i'll find out and get back to ya!!!

does sandhills carry a good stock of spec tires that can be purchased at the track??

i want to go practice and race on the 16th , but need tires. hopefully i can pick some up there. what compounds will i nee for 4 cell spec???

Tires are still up in air. ran blue- silver front green on rear first day.-- 2 silver on front green & gold on rear second weekend. Am going to change tires on 16th to run somthing else. these are spec tires.

Oval they have plenty of Spec BSR tires in stock. Pretty sure thats what Philip (fireman) was talking about.

20TN40 ---- Tires are BSR. This is all Mike said they were going to keep I think. BSR have more compound than this. I doin't know how many thay have. Had to work last weekend. On Oct 1st race was won on Trinity spec, blue front green on rear.

wow there is so much talking going on here I cant even keep up hahaha I will be there in about 1 week reenforce the walls for me oh and i will have to learn english again I havent used it for racing in over a year

I get on a great big bird and go back to the USA today have to study my english I hope I can still speak it haha (if I ever could before)

Anxiously waiting to hear how the carpet is doing and what sort of tires are working???

Carpet is coming in faster than most expected lat week the mod guys were right were they left off last year and all the other classes were coming in as well. i know several in stock and 19trn were running same as last year as well.

I know one stock guys ran jaco 3 blacks and a grey left rear. i know some stock and 19trn racers that ran blue RF, grey LF & RR and a white LR. thats what i have been running ing BSR's for 19trn.

Don't think it will change to much..... and i'm not sure what mod racers are running....

From what i seen BW said all the tire compounds that i've tried and worked well!!!!! i think the RF just depends on what class and how hard you car turns. Well who all is coming this weekend!!!!! Crowder are you gonna be here this weekend! i'll help you out if so!!!

I'm sure fired up for the Halloween race! Wish the track was closer so that we could come up and practice this weekend. Anyone know what the car count is looking like for the Halloween race?

I know the open 19trn will have a bunch... haven't heard anything on the other classes... Maybe Russell can let you know...

Looking forward to the Halloween race, ive never been there before so I was wondering what traction compunds are legal???

Paragon is the traction compond of choice.

Yeah Dennis, since Fabio had so much trouble with his cancer they did a little research in to all the traction compounds used and even with what most consider an unpleasent smell coming from the paragon. they found out that it is actualy the safest to use. A few will disagree, but when a man comes as close to checking out as he did it's hard to argue with him. Plus it does work........ PARAGON that is.....few have tried the Niftech as well but most end up on Paragon....

Another great night of racing at Sandhills... Track keeps getting faster... same speeds as last week but the track should have been slower by humidity and temp standards....
