I will be there. cant wait to go there again.

I will have my 12th scale antonio as well. we allowed wings up there? backs have to be in the body to?

ovalmaster
09-21-2004, 09:18 AM
yes, we can run wings with open rears in 1/12 scale only.
Let's get a count on who's running 1/12 scale. What motor do you want to run? Regular club rules (ROAR legal) or 4 magnet binary or 19 turn?

Antonio

i dont have a prefrence on stock motors. 2 mag, 4 mag i see no diffrence. i dont own a 19 turn yet, but stock would be my choice of motor.

I have some mod motors, but I will be running the Kascar class. Hopefully do better than I did at the Classic!!! LOL

Wings and cutout rear for 19 turn, ROAR rules or open???

Heard many good things about this place, I'd like to make this race for starters.

Ya, Steve, are we aloud to have just the rear bumper cut out for the stock kascar class?

Thanks!

You gotta go to this place Jet, it's awsome.

ovalmaster
09-22-2004, 09:41 PM
Bumpers must stay in place for stock as well you must respect the original body trim lines of the manufacture. This means that you cannot slam your bodies.

open rears and wings are allowed in 19-turn class and in 1/12 scale class.

Jet - we only run 19 turn once or twice a year so to keep things simple we chose to comply to the Trinity Cameleon 2 rules. Easy to tech.

Awsome! I was just confirming the issue on the rear bumper being cut out, just wasn't sure if it was legal or not at St. Roch, thanks for the response Ovalmaster!

Antiono, thanks for the info.
I'm not a fan of stock racing, and fixed timing 19 turn, is just a glorified stocker :p, so I may skip the race, but not sure now.

Well I've practiced last saturday the track really sticks, racing day conditions.

I took tires 3-4 years old compounds like green on rear, doubleblue and black in front. Car was way smoother than usual didn't fight at all with it. Many little changes to be done but very satisfied.

Frankly I never thought I'd find the Rock easier to drive than flat tracks but this time it is so.

I'll be there October 17th. Let's make it as fun as the April's Classic!!

Justin_29

Yes, what about seating? Will be sitting in the garage again? Or, will there be enough room upstairs. Also, soem of us Cornwall boys want to head-up and practise Saturday, what's the time schedual look like for Saturday?

Thanks!

There's enough space up stairs to seat something like 80 racers, so unless there's more, I'd be surprised that we'd have the US suite opened!

Hypercraig14,

It's roughly 330 miles away from Springfield, around 20 miles north of Montreal. If you want, just send me an e-mail and I'll send you directions and a map to the track. The season's opening is usually a pretty cool race, and is worth attending.

Justin,

If you want to be certain, just give Gerry a call (450-588-4254), but I'd be surprised to see people turned back... We'll figure out something if we hit the 85 racers, don't worry.

Tommy, I believe that 4 mags are legal at the Rock. I know that they were legal last year.

New rule for this year is that if the motors are very fast you have to lend them to me!!

LOL Antonio. I only got one 4 mag and it's pretty good.
