David Butts 04-24-2005, 12:03 PM We've been running our tires so small here I'm convinced even the orange plastic wheel gets good traction too. Dont try that with other brands.

Brooks, hows that saying go ? Old habits die hard ........
I see more orange wheels then anything else right now, they are very popular to say the least ..... Brooks, I shoulda tried them at the birds like you suggested.:freak:
But better late then never ...... they rock !
RC4less 05-15-2005, 09:16 AM Dave Butts gave me the count for ProStock and 19-Turn Mod. We had 8 of 10 cars on RC4LESS Tires in 19-Turn Mod and 9 of 10 cars in ProStock. With 2 wins and a new track record it just can't get much better. Thanks guys!

Bill Auchterlonie 05-15-2005, 04:47 PM I am going to place an order for some tires tonight. Can some of you who are running the tires recommend the best compounds to order? I am running on asphault and am currently using double pink rears, pink and double purple right front tires (bsr). What size are you starting them at too. Thanks
davepull 05-15-2005, 05:41 PM 3 pinks and a purple rf. i cut mine down to 2.250 for longer life. others that i kno cut them down to 2.200
katf1sh 05-15-2005, 05:54 PM bill i use 3 magentas and a purple rf on high bite larger tracks. i also switched from bsr to rc 4 less tires. i also used 3 double pinks and a purple or double purple from bsr..
you cannot tune your car without a assortment of tires. 1 pair magenta fronts 1 pair purple fronts 1 pair pink rears and 1 pair magenta rears. thats a good start!
davepull 05-15-2005, 06:12 PM I have to disagree with yah on this fish. I think 3 pinks and a purple is the only way to go. A bsr double pinks is a 35 to a 40 durameter and a double purple is a 45 to a 50.
Rc4less rubber a pink is a 35 magenta is a 40 purple a 45. Like I said 3 pinks and a purple should be your starting point. For my experience you never tune you car with tires . what I mean is, let say your car is pushing your running 3 pinks and a purple and your solution to the push is to put a magenta rf on the car it still pushes and you put a pink out there. On asphalt tire change should be the last thing you do there are so many other things you can change to loose the push. A fast guy Tom Pedano told me 3 pinks and a purple. so Kat if you want to be in the "b" keep the magenta's on 95 % of Florida's fastest are running 3 pinks and a purple.
katf1sh 05-15-2005, 09:57 PM hey bruce i'm back in the 12th scale hunt again! hint hint wink wink these work great ====> O now i want these =====> o when?
cneyedog 05-21-2005, 07:01 AM Bruce, going over to Bradenton to race with Boylan and the boys @ Marble Park for the 100 lapper ....... sure there will be plenty of orange rims there ..... anyone can check out the action LIVE starting saturday afternoon

Thanks Mike!!
Lets put some names with those cars. The red GS hobbies car in the back is none other than diamond Jim fuller. The #82 airborne car is Tom Pedano and the # 20 is Scott LaFoe. Yes sir, The rubber compounds in the awesome RC4LESS foam tires even get traction on lexan and more impressively in the air too. Dont try that with lesser brands.
cneyedog 05-26-2005, 08:46 PM look at the chassis roll on my blue deuce...... :p ...... it must be from all that monster grip from my orange wheeled tires . Check out mike Haney's car behind me the left front is off the ground already ...... WOW

Bill let me know what you find out works.
When the rc4less tires first came out, I thought to myself I can see these really working well for our apshalt track.
At Classic I run, BSR Purple LF, Double Purple RF BSR Green rears or Jaco Aqua's.
Our groove gets washed out each week by 1/4 scale cars so forward bite is hard to come by. With pinks rears I was a lap off. Double pinks or purple rears I just spun.
Bill Auchterlonie 05-26-2005, 09:31 PM Hi Eric, I plan on going down friday. I been on vacation this week working in the yard when it wasn't raining. I am ready for my racing fix. I boutgh I think 13 pair of tires and spoke with Bruce as i had a couple of questions I wanted to get right from the horses mouth. I probably shouldn't make any mouth remarks as Bruce was still coming out of his coma from his dentist visit (two crowns,,,,not the ones you get from Burger King) when we spoke. He is always helpful.
On a side note do you plan on coming to the Seaford race? Come on now Matt and I visit your track,,,lol. Would love to see you over here. Bring Adam out with you. Later Bill
katf1sh 05-26-2005, 10:18 PM so Kat if you want to be in the "b" keep the magenta's on 95 % of Florida's fastest are running 3 pinks and a purple.
i have made every A main at every race i have entered in 2005! some guys can just wheel a car better than others i guess? muhahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
BRDRACING 05-27-2005, 08:45 AM Kat you better not be calling your self a "wheel" LOL
jflack 06-03-2005, 10:50 PM Wooooo, Almost forgot to Thanks RC4Less.......Man without great service from RC4Less the 4 cell Stock Norrca National Championship would not have happened. Thanks Bruce!!!!!!! RC4less got very needed parts to me in the shortest possible time a few weeks before the nationals. I was going on a trip out west and everything needed to be here before I left. They Got er' done..........Thanks again
Jimmy Flack
RC4less 06-04-2005, 01:06 PM Hey Jimmy, glad to help. Congrats on the National Championship! Well deserved, glad you " Got-er Done!"
David Butts 06-20-2005, 08:09 AM http://www.mcallisterracing.com/racing/img110.gif
Looks like the RC4LESS foam tires are heading out west. Look at the new body releases from McAllister. ??? Oops I only meant for the one car but now I cant get the other one to go away. Oh well free plug for Gary.
dave w 1 06-20-2005, 07:00 PM GUYS just got my first shipment of thease tires they are beautiful the fit and finish are secound to none even the packaging is beautiful!
cneyedog 06-20-2005, 07:56 PM When you run your RC4LESS Tires, you'll like them even more, they wear great and have great grip ...... the wheels are strong too ...... I've crash tested them personally
RC4less 06-20-2005, 08:27 PM David, Gary makes some mighty fine bodies and as soon as my man Cecil Collins sees this color combination he will be over hear getting some ORANGE!
Now have you talked Boylan into an EDM class at RACE ROCK? Better yet talk to Boylan about "Pancars, EDM or IMCA Bodies & SNOWBIRDS". Say that 3 times fast!!! Putnam's not allowed in this class though. Too much home field advantage!
Good luck to all the guys at RACE ROCK this weekend!
Bt
CeO21 06-20-2005, 11:16 PM Hey Bruce,
Where's my ORANGE!!!. Got Rac'in and Win'in to do.

Bruce. Maybe you should talk to your friend Mikey and suggest a sponsored special class at the 06 Birds. Get Gary in on it and have everyone run only RC4LESS tires(have them available at the track for those less fortunate to not be running them allready) and only the McAllister IMCA body's(also available at the track). 4 cells, Any motor but with a $35 claimer rule and the "A" main is 100 laps if you make it in. Only the top 18 make it to the mains. 10 start the "B" and only two bump up, Dont make the "B"? Go back to your room. Hmmmm. I'm in!
rctom243 07-06-2005, 05:43 PM Question answered!
RC4less 07-06-2005, 05:45 PM For those guys who have been asking me about IB3800's we have them in stock and the numbers look great.
Looking forward to seeing the guys down at Stricklands for the FOCAR race this weekend. Now if Dennis will just stay away.
Bt
tfrahm 07-12-2005, 08:56 PM If you think Bruce's Orange wheels/foams are good (and they ARE GOOD!), you should try his "ET Racing" brushes... WOW!
I've run them in everything from 4-cell stock oval to Parking Lot racing (offroad Trucks with street tread tires) and Sedan...
Oval season is pretty much "over" for the summer, but I had the track record with a Monster and Bruce's brushes (and ORANGE rims, of course) at the local club's carpet track...
My Parking Lot "Truck" is a LOSI MFE with the LOSI T-90 tires, etc., so we're talking a HEAVY vehicle, but I can run lap times in the same range as the guys in the stock sedan class! They really work in Binary Stocks and Monster's...
I just wish he made them to fit the V2 mods, because I'm also racing Mod Sedan, and can't give up V2 style motors... Hint, hint...
These things WORK! You cannot beat the price either!

Any planes on making foam tires for the 1/12th scale oval guys??
I like the color orange on the rims , It matches my car!!!
rctom243 07-31-2005, 10:46 AM Rumor has it that there was some orange 1/12 wheels at Minnreg this weekend. The driver tried to say they were old "Novak" wheels he had laying around but we heard that story about a year ago, a couple of months before the 1/10 wheels were released.
Scarecrow please verify, I need some orange for my 1/12 ride.
Tom
cneyedog 07-31-2005, 10:58 AM maybe he just painted the wheels to match his paint job ?
good things come to those who wait, we'll all know for sure when the "nature boy" says the time is right
WOOOOOOOOO !
David Butts 07-31-2005, 11:18 AM I was at the indoor dirt oval in Ocala Fl yesterday and saw that BSR is now packaging Foam tires on CustomWorks rims for the dirt cars. Bruce, Any chance you'll be picking these up? Tires for the dirt cars have been scarce at best and with this new source and the history of selling the fine BSR cap tire line I'm looking forward to placing my first order for them soon. Hint hint;)
RC4less 07-31-2005, 12:26 PM Hey Dave, have you been looking into my inventory room???? I better close the blinds. I just received a shipment of BSR Foams mounted on custom works wheels. I just haven't got them up on the web site yet. I'm also stocking Cooper's foams mounted on custom works wheels as well. This will give a nice range as the BSR Pink has single pink(28-30) and double pink(32-34) and the Cooper's pink is one step above the BSR Double pink at (35-38). Also will have Silver compound (26-28) in both brands.
I'm trying to get the pricing right but when things seem to be too expensive for my liking you know what I normally go off and do. Just a thought, would orange wheels work with your paint scheme on your dirt oval cars in 6 months or so? Lot of the dirt oval guys are purists in the best sense of the word, and an orange wheel might be offensive even at lower prices.
I bet you didn't know I cut my RC Teeth on dirt oval in the 80's. I'm planning a road trip or two to Ocala soon. I've got a CDK car itching for some clay.
Later, BT
