DaveP, don't be messing with my homey Bojo. He is talking to everyone. BTW I think you need at least a few more question marks.

I think everyone should just buy four or more pairs of every compound front and rear that Bruce sells and experiment till you find what works on your particular car at whichever track you race at.

Of course it'll be real hard to get Bruce back on the phone to reorder once you find that magical compound since he'll have made so much money he'll be vacationing in Hawaii.

Hmmm, If his tire prices go up will the name be changed to RC4MORE or RC4ALITTLELESS? Just a thought.

Dave, prices are staying the same. I can't get off enough time to take a trip to Atlanta much less Hawaii. But I'm up for the quanity orders though.

Hmmm... Our local club's oval track is not Ozite -- it's a very short loop "office" style carpet, with decent traction once we "ran-in" the racing line this winter... I ran a track record 61/4:03 lap run with 3 pinks and a Purple for 19turn... When I lost the record by one second, I went to a Magenta RR to free the car up and then geared up to take advantage of the gain in corner speed... The result was a new track record of 63/4:03... I've subsequently run a couple of 62/4:00 runs to back that up...

I LOVE THESE ORANGE HOOPS!

Good Job Tom,

I'll be sending you the production run version of those samples I sent you. I'm driving to Atlanta to pick them up in about 10 minutes. Look for something in your mail box on Wednesday!

Thanks

Bt

Go Figure..., I just told Butts that I never get time to drive to Atlanta and look what happens, here I am going not a day later. Well it's for business anyway not vacations!!

I have been running 4-cell stock with no wing. I have been using H.black-RF, black-LF, tan-RR, and a cream-LR. I plan on doing a little 4-cell 19t with a wing at the same track. Does anyone have any suggestions for compounds? I was going to try running the same compounds. Not sure if I need to go with something different. Any advice would be appreciated since I am new to 19t racing with a wing.

i've never run bruce's tires on carpet and would be interested as well as to what flavors people we're running.

I would run a softer LF tire for sure, I've had good luck with 3 pinks and a purple right front with "other" tires.

Jest letting racer who uses rc 4 less tires you can use less compund on the tires. you can do al of the rears but a small amout on the fronts thy have great bite

My 4-cell 19t setup started out with 3 Pinks and a Purple RF for Ozite, but I could tell that the chassis was a touch too "tight" with that setup... For my local track, I changed the RR to a Magenta and the car really came alive! Corner speed improved, the car freed up without being "loose", and I was able to gear up a tooth due to the ability to carry more corner speed... Now Pink LF, Purple RF, Pink LR, and Magenta RR is my 19t "standard" setup...

My Stock class chassis has had a stable setup for some time now: Gray LF, HBlack RF, Tan LR, Black RR...

I also agree on using less "sauce" with the RC4Less tires... I no longer "soak" my tires... I just LIGHTLY wipe on the sauce (LR, RR, LF, RF), then turn right around and wipe off the excess sauce (RF, LF, RR, LR). Essentially, I'm just using the Paragon to do a quick cleaning and light "wetting" of the surface... You do not want to soak the tires -- if you need more bite, go with a softer tire. Soaking tires to soften them up just makes them inconsistent from run to run and accellerates wear... I never need to do more than 1/3-1/2 of each front tire, and I do the full rear...

Any advice would be appreciated since I am new to 19t racing with a wing.

I've been having good luck with 3 pinks and a purple as well. That's my preference but Scotty Hauenstein has got 3 grays and a white left rear to work very well at my local track. He was a little faster than me.

I won the Club race in 19turn on pink LR, Magenta RR, Magenta LF, Black RF.
I also ran Tan LR, Gray RR, Gray LF, Black RF and finished 13th out 60.
So either one of those combos will work.

As long as the foam is consistant and the wheels run true,(and the front bearings fit properly) I don't care if the wheels are pink, purple yellow or black. It's not about show, it's all about go. I think the wheels look cool. But then again, I'm kind of partial to orange.....

i am kinda of partial to orange my self but i do run the general lee piant job.

At Da'Birds this year I ran 19t sportsman and I used the same set of tires all the way from practice to the main. I used a pink lf, Purple rf, Magenta rr and a pink lr. It was the best my car has ever worked on carpet.

I was thinking something more along the lines of 3 creams and a gray or cream leftsides and gray rights or a tan rr

Tommy tell the gimp ( Scott H) to get testing so we know what to run at the birds next year.

These orange rimmed tires are taking over. I raced at Stricklands park in Ormond Beach Fl. lastnight and they were everywhere. I think even people who are running the black and yellow rimmed ones are now painting their wheels orange so they can fit in with the faster crowd.

Yep, They're that good. Thanks Bruce.

Butts, you got that right, there were orange wheels everywhere last night, I qualified my orange wheeled racer 4th for the A-main in 19T, was a tough crowd last night too......zoooom zoooom. Some kid named Boylan won, think I heard of him before .....he's pretty good.....lol. BTW, he had orange rims too. Congrst to Butts for winning 4 cell stock. Bruce, the tires are awesome I'm still on the same set from the speedway race ... wooo hooo.:D

Thanks Guys for the outstanding results. A real pickme up after a long out of town trip with my 8 year old daughter getting a banged up falling down on a treadmill of all things. No it wasn't mine for sure, just messing around with something she shouldn't have at a party we attended in NC and learned a hard lesson. Has a couple of torn up knees and ankles to show for it.

Hey did you see me on TV flying the RC4LESS colors at the Master's Golf Tournament. That was me beside the 6th green of Wednesday's par 3 tournament, trying to pick up Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson for the race team. For some reason they thought they had a better deal with what they had and I couldn't get them to switch to an orange ball with a RC4LESS logo. Go figure!!!!!!!!

4 cell Stock A-main @ Stricklands

1. Butts- RC4less
2. Dave Pull-RC4less
3. Chris Garland-RC4less
4. Steve Short- TRC

6. Shawn Vanthoff-???
7. Tom Pedano-RC4less

10.Ernie Smith-???

It was not the cleanest of mains but most of the fast cars made it back to the front (except Tom P.who TQ'ed) 2 races in a row the stock A-main was hackfest. But all in all not a bad day for the RC4less tire group. I have never known a tire to be as small as mine were and still have that much grip. 2.01 That would be little, but they had almost the same grip as when they started at a 2.20. great tire all the way to the rim..lol:cool:

I had the orange for the qualifers then I put the "other" color because they where a little bit taller...bad mistake the "other" color was chucking away rf and lr, so from now orange wheels are on the car...

Not exactly a big race, but in our final race of the season, my 19t car took a beating, including a bent front axle. (the good, 'hardened' Wolfe setup). I emailed BT, but wanted to share this with the rest of the oval racing community, because Bruce's wheels/tires continue to impress me! The hit that bent the RF axle was a massive one, and the wheel clearly took the brunt of it -- the car that hit me put a 'nick' in the nylon of the wheel and that was IT! No crack, no chunk, nothing! Later in the day (I just straightened the axle to finish the day), I got spun around again and took a big hit on the RR corner -- just a 'nick' in the nylon of the wheel (no crack, no broken wheel), and it cut a small chunk out of the tire, but even with that impact, the foam did not pull away from the rim -- the chunk was torn out by the impact, but it was the FOAM that tore -- there is still foam glued to the rim! Any other brand I've ever run would have resulted in broken rims and foam pulled off the rim (bad glue, etc.)... WOW! I'm impressed!

These things are TOUGH!
