Bruce, I had a chance to look at these things first hand this past saturday. Nice pieces there. Any chance you'll be doing the touring car tires also? With your prices I think there'll be a whole bunch of orange rimmed cars showing up at tracks around the country soon. I'll be trying them on for size(or is that color)myself.

Dave, I'm working on a touring car deal now and might have something in just a couple of months. You'll hear it here first!

Thanks

NO! Wrong idea -- let's just keep this OUR little "secret" so we can sneak up on the competition at the track... Let them find out about these tires AFTER we use them to whip 'em... :D

I agree with speedpunk, great tires and they give you some in-between choices. I have ran one set close to 500 laps and have only .040 wear on the right side tires, good bite.

Ditto! I just got back from the season opener at St. Roch in Canada. My car was very good all weekend as I qualified 7th in the 63 car field of stock. Not bad for my 2nd time at this track. I'm also getting very good tire wear, excellent traction and they don't soften up a ton, just to what the durometer reading is on the tire.

Sure would have liked to of been the lone american in that A main  :) . (6 make the A)

I got a chance to run the tires this past weekend at Krazels new track in Harrisburg Pa. The track was formally a dirt oval that he converted over to flat oval/road coarse this past summer. It is an ozite surface that only has two weeks of racing on it but good bite. I ran the hard black on the right front gray on the right rear and tans on the left side and man did the car have corner speed. T.Q.ed and lapped the field of eight talented racers that usually beat me. Whats that tell you. Must be the tires. Seriously the tires had almost to much traction but by stiffening the suspension the car just got better and better. A+ on quality and A+ on at least my first outting with them.

Know the feeling, lapped the field after a 2nd lap crash that cost me 2 seconds.

Tommygun,
What are you running for compounds in these for G.Falls, Barre and Plattsburgh? I am going to switch over and was just curious....

Thanks

I've been running LF-Cream, RF-Gray, LR-White, RR-Gray. This should be very close at most tracks for stock. Go softer at Barre, probably white rears, LF Cream, RF Tan, there is no traction at all on that track.

WOW!!! Bruce, you did a great job with these tires! Very fast, and consistant from set to set. We have reset the track record in 19 turn in each of the last two weeks with you tires. Bear Yarbrough set the record a week ago, and I reset it this last weekend. There is still more speed left in these tires, so i'm sure that there will be faster times posted in the weeks to come.

All I can say is, Thank You for making a better tire at a much better price. This is what this hobby needed.
Keep up the good work Bruce!

Hey Bruce...Tom is right, ran the fastest laps of the day with "Orange Power" and it was the 3rd week in a row running the same tires. More orange colored wheels showing up every week. All I can say is thanks for helping the racers.

Bruce, are 12th scale tires in the works or on the back burner?

RC4less
11-01-2004, 05:56 PM
Trav I would say middle burner. It is farther up than that in my mind but sometimes my mind tends to get ahead of my business sense. It's all I can do right now to keep up on 1/10 stuff so I'm content at the moment. Nov & Dec have a lot going on (Middle daughter graduates from UT - Hook-um Horns!!), Youngest daughter birthday, couple of family trips, and on and on.

Tom Great job on the Track Records. Having good feedback from a lot of places this weekend.

TinMan you know they would last a long time look is there anyone more frugal than me?

Thanks also to John H. Good job and good to see you hunted and found the right combination.

Thanks guys!

BT

Hey One other thing DR Finley at MSA Distributing and Raceway is in pretty bad shape and needs everyone's thoughts and prayers. DR is a great sponsor of RC Racing and has done a lot for a lot of people in the RC world. Stop what you are doing on the internet right now, and say a prayer. DR We're thinking about you buddy!

Can anyone make a recommendation for which compounds to run on a flat (maybe a little dusty) concrete track? This would be 4 cell stock motor.

If I read the website correctly, the donuts on his website are "Jet-cut donuts" and are the same price (or close) to the price of the mounted RC4Less tires. Do they have the RC4Less tires as donuts?

RC4less
11-11-2004, 06:59 PM
QBall, I am not selling the donuts from my RC4less tires. You can get them mounted on our orange wheels. If you need something special in donuts feel free to email me at rc4less@hotmail.com with your request and we'll discuss.

Thanks

Hi Bruce,

I just wanted to see if you were coming to Race Rock next weekend? I might need some more tires and wasn't sure if I should have you ship them or bring them with you. Let me know.

Thanks,
Chris
