Hes a busy man. sometimes it takes up to a week before he returns an email or a phone call, but sooner or later he does. :)

EHR & Bandit Racing: Working on pics today for the instructions, all parts are here except for a couple small things. All your normal symetrical t-plates will fit the car. However to use the off-set t-bar set-up you'll need to use one of our t-bars. Basically the whole t-bar sits further to the left in the car as well as the shocks, seems to be a big help on flat tracks. We should have pics and more info of the car on the website within the next day or so.

Thanks for the update Arnie, where will the CW Aggressor style steel spring offset t-plate be available at? Todd will you have them?

We may be having email problems again, (AOL), the subject line of the emails were left blank / or didn't specify that it was RC related.

Please specify in the subject line what your email is pertaining to. With our daily email count in the 80-100+ range, if the subject line doesn't specify what the content is, we delete it. Also, I'm not the only one who checks them/reads them, so be sure to be clear and specify what it's about.
I'll be returning all emails/inquiries by this Sunday. :thumbsup:

Ok, does anyone know when this car will be available for sure ? I've been hearing a couple weeks for a couple months now. Anything definite? ... any updated photos? Price of the kit ? Will there be an ample amount of spare parts ? Will I be able to buy them direct from Customworks ? Mr Putnam, Mr Fie, Mr Cutman ?

Ya got people choppin at the bit to buy new cars to get some track time on carpet this winter.:)

Randy: All the "Gaerte Rebuilts" shipped yesterday. I just got another dyno,(mine blew up again) so new motors will be shipping again this week. It seems that I wear my dyno out about every 6 months, and have to send it back for a week of R&R to the CE "SPA"...

To All: Everyone who contacted me via email should have rec'd a press release and pre-ordering instructions . It is imperitive that you get your deposits in ASAP to secure your kit(s), as I believe the kits will be arriving in the very near future... :thumbsup:

As a racer that has run Custom Works dirt oval cars since they became available to the public way back when, I cant help but wonder.:rolleyes: They always had the best looking/working dirt oval body's so can it be assumed that they will also be producing stock car body's for the pan car crowd? Of course no proud Agressor owner would be caught dead with anything butt(tm) a CW body on their car(s) right?

Ifso, Take a hint from HPI and put the dimples where the body post's would be if the body were mounted on a CW car in the optimum mounting position. Crooked body's look like poop! I've seen guys who could build chassis's like a jeweller but mounted body's like a carpenter. You know, Thats close enough?

There seems to be quite a rumble about who's going to get one and such down here in hurricane ravaged Florida. So the big speedway we race on here in Jacksonville will once again be graced by customworks cars. Lord knows many of them ran on it when it was clay. Just seems right some how. Hey the clay's still there it's just under about four inches of asphalt now so it'll be just like old times. Only faster!

Hmm...I wonder who is going to drive a CW at Hobby World again...Last one I drove was the sprint car in the dark ages....I know its not me, yet.... ;)

Does the kit come with any wing mounts? What kind of glue do you use to seal the chassis plate, bumper & nerf bar edges?

Tuning Tips....So each kit comes with an Arnie Fie clone??

red lock tight works great but put 3 or 4 coats on

EHR- use super glue and a q-tip.

I use 30 min epoxy to seal the edges. It dries faster than super glue & you don't have to sand because it dries crystle clear.

How are the kits coming? UPS, Priority, Fedex????? I need to know what to look for in the mail room.

Does anyone have any experience w/ running the aggressor w/ the pod plates moved back to the longer setting? I know i have one track that i race on where the bumps are pronounced. i was thinking about setting my car up w/ the pod plates back, but was wondering what anyone else has noticed in the cars handling when they tried it...

I figured that I wouldn't get one out of the first lot, I placed my order pretty late ( about 2 weeks ago ) No big deal, I'm not in a huge rush. Probably better that it didn't show, I would have rushed to try to get it together for the race at K/N today, and probably rigged something in a hurry. No biggie, as long as I get it in the next couple weeks, I'll be good to go.

A little, back to stock and 19 turn for this guy. I'm done with the whole modified thing, I just can't justify the time and $$ for that. Got a house I'm looking to buy, I got engaged last month, so there's a wedding ( and a stag! ) coming next september, and then there's the transam project I have going. I'm back to play for FUN, probably won't see me travelling out of CT to do a whole lot of racing, just local stuff. Besides, 4 cell stock is actually kind of fun. Tire wear, what tire wear?
