View Full Version : Pan car builders...links?
Parocket 09-10-2004, 03:37 PM Getting back into pan car racing for a winter escape from my summer racing....see how that works?
Anyway...looking for info on builders of pan car. Who is left? Would like to investigate some different kits before buying.
So who is left? I know AE, Hyper, KSG..seen Custom works
Is ADX, Leading Edge, and any other around? I remeber some new car out of the midwest coming out...was real nice cannot remember name.
Thanx

BrentP 09-10-2004, 04:29 PM ADX is no longer in business. I believe Leading Edge is & still going strong. Pro Parts is another very good choice. There is Maverick, KGB, & REI. These are all conversion kits for the L3/L4's. I think Silva Concepts is about to release a new oval ride. Plenty of choices out there & all are compentative.

JPHRacer 09-12-2004, 08:51 PM Maverick Oval Chassis. Very fast car. There are two versions, the OPC (one piece chassis) and the Maverick, which is the slider car. Two different flavors, and both very fast.

APE82 09-18-2004, 11:03 PM what can anyone tell me about the hyperdive adrenaline?
Stagger2 09-19-2004, 09:54 AM If you do a search on this site you will find Adreneline Topics. There is alot of info on here, from set ups to general stuff. Check the Hyperdrive site and Mike Valentine's site, here's the link to that http://www.geocities.com/MIKEYVALENTINE/HYPERDRIVE0700/ . I've been searching and found great help on this site from others that have and have had this car.

The Hyperdrive's are great car's the adrenline is a bit dated but It should work fine, personally I would go with a more up to date chassis like the pro 2 or 0700,mainly for the parts supply and set up help is better.
Fl Flash 09-19-2004, 07:21 PM I have both a Hyperdrive 0700 and shorty Pro 2 and still get outrun by a Hyperdrive Adrenline at one of the tracks I race at  The Adrenlines a very good chassis the 0700 and Pro 2 have a few more adjustment options though. Any Hyperdrive would be a good choice for oval racing!!!!

20TN40 09-20-2004, 11:23 AM APE82, you just won't find an easier car to set up than the Adrenaline! I can almost set mine down on any track and be competative and then just work on tweaking it a bit. I absolutely LOVE the chassis and now have FOUR of them!
Like Flash said, the Pro 2 has a few more adjustments and now I also have one of them. But for overall good car anywhere you take it (carpet or paved), you just can't miss with an Adrenaline! What track are you running?

I AM RUNNING ON A MID SIZED FLAT CARPET OVAL
Stagger2 09-20-2004, 01:24 PM Sorry Mike, I just noticed that your site is not up anymore or at least that link. Do you have another site now? Steve Salvas still has his up. http://www3.sympatico.ca/tqcells/steven.htm He has a basic set up there.
Chad
racin rudy 09-20-2004, 06:14 PM I pitted near Steve Salvas this past weekend and have to say he knows his sh!t. I just wish I could get inside his brain and understand everything in there, lol. He out qualified me (not that I'm any good) by 6 laps on a very tight 90' flat oval.
So many good cars out there you almost cant go wrong, good luck with your decision.
Rudy
MIKE VALENTINE 09-21-2004, 08:22 AM stagger2 no i don't have any thing else availably online. i was thinking of doing something but with the baby i don't think i would have enough time to make it worth while. i hate when websites aren't updated for months, so i decided against it, maybe in the future.
