View Full Version : AMT Enterprise-E
Edward Baxter 09-09-2004, 04:41 PM Found one! Everyone!
JerseyPhoenix 09-13-2004, 11:56 AM Actually I do.
What's the going rate for them anyway?
Have anything for trade?
I've been looking for the PL Stooges recently but can't find them.
Edward Baxter 09-13-2004, 07:32 PM Greetings JerseyPhoenix! I like "Insane Multitasker". Kind of says it all does'nt it. To be completly honest, I don't know what the going rate for these areyou might buzz around the site & get some idea. Take a look at my post entitled "Looking for someone to trade models" by Edward Baxter. I have a pretty big list of things to trade listed there. If you've got any of the others I'm looking for I'd trade the Ban-Dai painted & lighted kit Enterprise-E or whatever. I'm pretty easy going. You can send me a list of what you've got via private message or to stargaze@pulsenet.com. Sorry, Astronomer. I'll watch for the 3 stooges for ya & I really like your quote! get back with me. Eddie B.
MitchPD3 09-14-2004, 10:12 AM Depending on the shape the kit is in, the E-E can go anywhere from $50.00 and up. The highest I have seen went for about $125.00 on ebay. Best deal I got on mine was from a fellow BB'er. Good luck!
BTW Ed, you got another Enterprise C you wanting to get rid of?
Edward Baxter 09-14-2004, 11:00 AM Good Morning JerseyPhoenix,
I meant to ask last night have you seen the Ban-Dai Enterprises? The detail on them is incredible. The Enterprise-E & the NX-01 is easily the most detailed ships I've ever seen. (I was so impressed, I bought 2. You should go out to their web site & take a look. I think you'll be Impressed & I'm not easily impressed. I'd really like to have you're Enterpprise-E so take a look at what I've got & the approximate value of it.
We can compare notes on what we've got & maybe come up with a decent trade. I'm Curious what else you've got model wise that I don't. I have that small list on my posting but im not opposed to having duplicates of the ones I really like. That way I can build one (like I know I will) & save the other for when I get My Air brush up & Running.
Keep in touch & let me know if your still interested in doing business.
Thanks!
Eddie Baxter
Send this via private message & we'll keep between us.

Let me finish moving all my models and stuff into my newly redone work area (of which I discovered I am NOT a carpenter "Thumb nails grow back, right?")
Should be all done by this weekend. I'll let ya know what I have, what I'm looking for and an idea of how to do it.
Edward Baxter 09-14-2004, 04:49 PM [COLOR=Purple]When The thumb nail turns black, That's a good sign.... Right?
jimmyd30 09-16-2004, 04:23 PM Have a good time with the e-e. there is a whole section of the engineering hull under the ship that ertl didnt even bother with.the area where the stand should go is just a whole,a molded whole, but other than that the area is void of any surface detail. to do the ship correctly you have a little work to say the least. the bandai kit is probably good to have around for reference while you do the ertl kit.i've been toying with the idea of actully modeling the bandai kit, fillin seams etc., and repainting it....someday.
kahless72 09-17-2004, 12:34 AM Hey Eddie, clean out your PM box! I have message for you.
Edward Baxter 09-17-2004, 12:36 AM Surely there's someone out there with an extra E to part with. The AMT/Ertyl sounds like a challange. I bought all 3 bandai"s and it's sounding like I'm glad :drunk: I did!
MitchPD3 09-17-2004, 03:12 AM Well I have one, but after being ignored for a couple days I think I'll keep it.
Captain-Raveers 09-17-2004, 07:39 AM :pYour best bet boys is ebay....I've gotten lucky just recently for an ERTL E-E from there....you just gotta keep search and keep watching.
Trent
Edit: No I aint planning on sellin' her since I plan to build her. :p
Edward Baxter 09-17-2004, 11:35 AM Ok, Thanks for the heads up. I've been on E-Bay all morning. Found a couple of goodies.
Edward Baxter 09-17-2004, 12:02 PM Well I have one, but after being ignored for a couple days I think I'll keep it.
Sorry Mitch, I don't want you to feel ignored. My wifes a project manager & works from home a lot so my time on the computer is whenever I can squeeze it in. Don't take it personally though, Between that and medical issues with me I'm not alway's able to get on line. so apologies go out if necessary.

kahless72 09-17-2004, 09:40 PM I have the Enterprise-E, but I would only give it up for the 27" Klingon Bird of Prey.
MitchPD3 09-20-2004, 10:31 AM Nahhh, never take anything personally. It's just that you seem to have wanted one so bad and I have sent models to other BB'ers at no cost to them. And brother, I feel your pain. Year and half ago I broke my neck and after laying up in a brace for 4 months you kinda get antsy. Ran out of sick time and had to go back to work before the Dr. released me. There was a 75% chance that I would be paralyzed but apparently I had one of the best Docs in this situation. Just occasional mind numbing sharps pains to contend with now. Shortly after that developed severe case of diverticulitis and if I'm not careful on what I eat they will have to go in and remove 4' of 5' lower intestine. And to top it off I have this ingrown toenail that's giving me fits!
Man, it's a bitch to get old!!!!!!!
Edward Baxter 09-20-2004, 11:54 PM ......
Edward Baxter 09-21-2004, 12:04 AM Ain't that the truth! I guess I just don't plan to grow old gracefully. I did manage to get one though. I hope everything goes ok with you. How did you manage to break your neck? Seems like that would make building pretty rough! If your like me you have good days and bad days. I think I've managed to offend a few people inadvertantly though. I'd better just be quiet on bad days.
MitchPD3 09-21-2004, 12:27 AM Let's just say that a high speed pursuit, wet roads, and a deep ditch do not make for a "good" thing! And ya know the kind of pain I'm talking about when the Percocet and Demerol only dulls it a little.
Edward Baxter 09-22-2004, 08:46 PM Yes I do! Their going to install a pump next month as a last resort.
Edward Baxter 09-22-2004, 10:13 PM Trade Completed! I finally got an E!!! Thanks JerseyPhoenix. Just 3 more to go.
Personal opinion....E-Bay's pretty pricy & if you don't have a high speed connection, that last second 50 cent bid is reallly irratating! I'd rather deal with with ya'all anyday!
starrtrekker 09-28-2004, 12:11 PM I have an enterprise-b sealed what kits do you have for it?
kahless72 09-28-2004, 06:25 PM hmmm never did a E-B before. Anything you are looking for?
Edward Baxter 10-06-2004, 06:15 PM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :freak:
Edward Baxter 10-19-2004, 04:30 PM Trade is complete on this item.
Thanks Everyone!
