Thanks  burbs 09-09-2004, 03:42 AM yes the pod should be level with the chassis... offsetting verse standard, seems to be more preference then anything.. u will see super fast guys do both, and like both... i prefer offsetting.. i think it helps the car drive off better....but i have been just as fast running it centered.. richclo 09-09-2004, 04:53 AM Thank you. bud3738 09-09-2004, 10:17 AM I find that offsetting gives the car a little push coming off the the turn...which is good in flat tracks... I have never seen anyone run offset on a banked carpeted track...its user preference I guess.... rockin_bob13 09-09-2004, 01:46 PM Banked tracks seem to make the car more easily loose than a flat track, so I like the off-set in all situations, from flat carpet to high banked carpet to high banked Velo. Seems to help the car accelerate faster out of the turns. I believe merely off- setting the pod with all tweak adjustments left the same, adds @3 oz to the LR tire so you can run less tweak and still keep the rear hooked up. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
