Southwest Racers-

Just a reminder that the12th anual "Flagstaff 500" is scheduled for September 18, 19. Enjoy RC Racing in the cool pines at the nations highest RC race track...7,000 feet!

Paved oval 330 feet...very large road course...and very cool asphault stadium course.....plus the short track oval for Mini-Midgets. All oval classes are 4 minutes, all other classes are 5 minutes.

Large drivers stand, full track set up with soft-wall technology, Aut-score system, good PA system with flag to flag announcing, parts on site(everything you need), restrooms on site, AC, tons of pit space, and food!
An RC Racer's dream come true!

Classes- Novice, Stadium Stock, Road course(touring/sedan)stock, Mini-Midget, 4-cell Nascar stock,4-cell Nascar Modified.

Race the best in Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico!

Practice and qualifying on Saturday...practice, last chance qualifier and double "A" Mains Sunday. Bring the family and buddies and visit the Grand Canyon too!

I've been wanting to make a trip to Flagstaff to check you guys out..but the 18th we (The SWTour) will be at HOTROD HOBBIES for another round of the '04 Series.

I hope you guys have a GREAT crowd and some awesome racing!

Hi Joe-

Thanks for the reply. We do have a warm-up race this Sunday if you get the erge. Hope the race at Hot Rod is a good turn-out. You have the right idea involving many different tracks. Wish that could be done nationally. It would sure take our hobby to a new level.

We may get another race in after the Flagstaff 500 here in Flagstaff before the snow flies. We'll take a break for the holidays and then start our Winter point series in Cottonwood in January. Great track there, all the same equipment, and lots more racers from Phoenix. Very good competition.
Good trip for the "California Boys".
