Here are pics of the Tyco compatible 6" (http://www.jaysraceplace.com/6testjays.jpg) and 15" (http://www.jaysraceplace.com/15testjays.jpg) curve prototypes. They left a message on one of the mailing lists that they're working out the kinks on these and hopefully, they'll be ready soon.

In looking at the pics I was trying to figure out what kinks need to be worked out. When will these be available ?

Is TYCO making these or are these aftermarket?

Aftermarket, but the quality is better than if Mattel made them.
Forgot to mention that these are being made by a group of guys not affiliated with Tyco/Mattel. And the only problem now is how well these pieces nest with 9 and 12" pieces. They're working on that, when that's done they'll start making them.
Makes you wonder why Mattel didn't see the Tomy turn variety, and try to make these themselves to make their product more competitive to Tomy. With all that Tyco track out there in the secondary market (at dirt cheap prices), imagine how many 6" and 15" turns they could've cranked out.

Thanks for the info. I need some of those!
They have worked out the kinks and are starting their production. Look for them to be available in Oct/Nov.
