If this would have been planned as a 1 day race, I think turnout would have been much better. For me personally, I could not justify planning for a 3 day regoinal this close to Nats. I think the turnout at Nats should be good. I am looking forward to it.

Brad Hayes! Long time no see or hear!

It's tough to have a one-day regionals. If attendance would have been in the normal range, the two-format proposed would have been the limit. In reality I belive regionals are supposed to be a three day event. We worked out the two day schedule to allow more travel on Firday and manins only on sunday to let everyone get back sooner.

Any talks of ROAR going to a 2 day format for Nationals?

With the lower nats attendance 2 days seems appropriate. Both ARCOR and Norrca use 2 days and lately they have been pulling about the same amt of racers as Roar for their nats.

With everyone's busy schedules now-a-days less time off work is a Plus and more would attend.

Good thought. However most of the die-hard out of towners get there on Monday/Tuesday anyway.

We'll see how it goes.
