Palomar Raceway, is nearly completed.

The Grand Opening is scheduled for Oct. 3rd with open practice Oct. 2nd
The Race will be FREE to all drivers...(limit 2 classes per)
The Grand Opening race will be Off Road due to the popularity of the class, in the area.
High speed dirt oval action is just around the corner.
The Oval track is a TRI oval, and the driveline is appox. 510'

Plenty of dry camp RV parking available, and Pala Casino is only 5 minutes from the track.
The track is going to be a top notch facility, after it gets established we hope to host National, and World events.

Man you gotta be kid'n!??! LOL 100 miles is close for us. Some of the tracks that we go to on a regular basis are 200- 250 miles each way. Just mess'n with you Mitts! :)

i been thinking about moving to a city called Merced.. thats about 2 hours from fresno/ 2 hours from frisco... 2 hours from... everywhere. I dont think they have an RC track there at all.. grrrrr.......................

i dunno... i need my racetracks to be at least under 100 miles :P

There are others that are no more then a couple + hours away.

I know in 1992 there used to be a track at the airportt in merced.Oval and off-road. We used to run Turlock, Fresno, Chico, Angels camp. adn more. You might be suprised on whats up there.

speedworld is going to have a new dirt oval by april.
