Yeah Kevins car was awesome>>>Especially for the first run out on a new setup...Car looked very good..

I have 1 unrelated question.. Silva shocks... I have the Hard coat shocks on my car... Do you guys Silva/IRS ever plan to make the adjusting nuts in hard coat??? I supposed I could run black ones..But I actually like the teflon look of the hard coat ones..But ive yet to see any adjusters coated like that..

Do you plan to make your own front bumpers, Associated ones are getting fragile and hard to get lately. Something with a little more material in the places where Associated's is thin. Any plans on a 12th scale version?

I will be getting a new silva car here in a week or two, I had a couple of questions, what motor plates are the best ones to use? stck associated? lowered IRS? Extended IRS? where would be a good starting point for the battery track position? I race weekly in akron (classic hobbies).

thanks,

Joel

For flat track the standard Irrgang pod plates (short wheelbase), banked extended pod plates add the Kimbrough bearing adaptors. Battery all the way out third or forth hole, banked track battery might get moved in about 1/4 inch.
Offset pod for flat, non set for banked.
One chassis built for flat, the other for banked tracks a third for 19turn flat track.

Thanks to the Silva's,
On our team of 4 drivers we have 6 X factors between us and for the first time going to the Snowbirds I think we did pretty good, we had one in the B Main 19 turn Sportsman, 1 in the E Main 19 turn Sportsman, 2 in the C Main 19 turn Expert, 1 in the E Main 4cell Stock and 2 in the F Main 4cell Stock. So, thanks again for a great car and all the help during the SnowBirds.
