Just got the DCX 3300 xapper. Have a question though. Do I zapp the cells as soon as I take the deadshort wire off of them or do I put a little charge into the pack before zapping?

Thanks

YOU WANT TO ZAPP THE CELL RIGHT AFTER YOU TAKE YOUR WIRE OFF
cells tend to take a better zapp at zero votltage

Interesting... I was advised by a matcher:

Under 6 months old: 70 V

Over 6 months old: 55 V

Just the opposite of what you said.

I guess the question now is, Which voltage to use for the age of a pack?

Face plate sticker says
Brand new GP3300-90v
3 month old GP3300-80v
6 month old GP3300-70v.
