Just got the DCX 3300 xapper. Have a question though. Do I zapp the cells as soon as I take the deadshort wire off of them or do I put a little charge into the pack before zapping?
Thanks

Thanks Alan Behler 08-11-2004, 10:32 PM YOU WANT TO ZAPP THE CELL RIGHT AFTER YOU TAKE YOUR WIRE OFF cells tend to take a better zapp at zero votltage Mike Wilson 08-11-2004, 10:34 PM Right on, Thanks Sure Shot TeamGoodwrench 08-12-2004, 10:16 AM What voltage are you using to zap them before charging ?? bojo 08-12-2004, 10:54 AM over 6 months old 70 under 6 months old 50 you can zap charge and race or the best after zap let sit for 3 days then cycle twice . TeamGoodwrench 08-12-2004, 11:30 AM over 6 months old 70 under 6 months old 50 you can zap charge and race or the best after zap let sit for 3 days then cycle twice . Interesting... I was advised by a matcher: Under 6 months old: 70 V Over 6 months old: 55 V Just the opposite of what you said. Mike Wilson 08-12-2004, 07:35 PM I guess the question now is, Which voltage to use for the age of a pack?
