What would I need to convert my solid chassis KSG car from 3 shock to
a dampener tube set up? What brand dampener should I get? Does it
matter? I don't even know what goes in it, but what weight should I
start with?

Looking to try this on the 19T in a couple weeks Jet!

HLOL, just when I switch to 3 shocks, LOL.
I like the black plastic ones, they have a tighter fit (Tighter is better ;)) Just use one, I had mine on the left.
For lube I used Trinity "purple stuff" for stiff DAMPING (only ONE n) and buds diff lube for lighter damping, and a mixture, will cover the in-between. Have 3 tubes ready to go, you can pop them on in the time it takes Kenseths pit crew to change tires;)

Anything else, just ask.

Switch back!!?? hehe. I just want to try it on one of my cars.
I think it would work well at a couple tracks.

Uh, do you use tweak screws? Are they all the way forward on the T-plate?
I need to take a look at your car I guess.

My G-FORCE has "dillon" type spring system. Tweak screws will really crazy things up. T-plates will effect the side loads too then.
I didn't even think about how you'd spring that baby. Hmmm, maybe you can squeeze a G-force system in there. I have spare everything you need :)

you might find one by bolink at a LHS, i dunno if they still make em tho. tom, i used to use the black on also, but the CRC aluminum one works good too.

BAT, do you use a dampener tube in 19T at K/N?

Charlie, do you run tweak screws?
